I haven't found it addressed in any etiquitte books but I think it's disgusting. Go outside or in the bathroom. No one wants to hear you honking snot while they are eating.

Does anyone else really like to see women breast feeding in public? I think it is disgusting. i think the next time I see one, im going to go sit by her and expose half of my breast.

I dont walk around showing stuff off because these same women would be offended, so why not show those of us who dont appreciate that the same courtesy?

And why in the world would you want to give perverts a show? and yes, you know they are out there!!!!

Thanks to everybody who answered my question about japanese manners. Now I only have one student instead of 2 and I have another problem. He told us he was a smoker so we told him that he could only smoke outside, not inside and that he had to properly dispose his cigarettes. This weekend when I was cleaning out his room I found several water bottles full of used cigarettes and his bathroom had a strong cigarette smell. Plus the bathroom door was always locked. (He didn't know I had and extra key) After my dad confronted him he denied smoking in the house. Plus we've been wanting to turn on the AC this week but he says that he doesn't need it. It's burning here in SoCal. Is he smoking the bathroom?

I actually deleted a question because of the rude answers I got. Why is it if you ask something people respond with all kinds of weird things like they know you? And not only do they act like they know you, they don't like you. Geez, I just asked a question concerning my boyfriend and someone insulted me for saying boyfriend. What, is boyfriend not serious enough? Would you take me seriously if he was my fiance or husband? So, I'm concerned my boyfriend hid porn from me, instead of sharing it with me, which I'm all for. And someone called me "unapproachable" and someone called me "stupid". What's with that? I just wanted to know if it's men's nature to hide porn! Alright, I'm not always nice. But in truth, as you all know, some people ask really dumb questions.

I never know what to do in these situations. Do I call, or do I leave her alone? I will travel to attend the funeral this weekend, but in the meantime, is there something I can do to be of comfort? She's in Michigan, and I'm in Minnesota...

I see people smoking in the busstop shelters when it says no smoking by city ordinance, they drink at them too although it is posted as punishable by 500 dollars. They eat on the bus, they climb on stuff at the laundramat, they cross the street when it says do not walk, etc. It seems people disregard rules. They are there for a reason but everyone seems to think they don't have to obey them. They break in the security gates so they don't have to buy a card to get in, play loud music at 3 am, etc.

I think people have lost their sense of control and respect

My beautician set aside time for me on a Sunday afternoon, a day that she never does hair. I ended up not showing up. :-( How do I ever talk to this woman again? How do I apologize for my fickleness?? (This is the first time I've ever stood someone up)

I have a friend that forwards me EVERYTHING in her inbox. Most of the time it's something gruesome or something of that ilk. Thing is, snopes.com is there for her to use. I've sent her links to stuff enough for her to know about the site. Why doesn't she use it?!
