He/She could not, in all probability, give a royal' flippin' fart what emails come in... give it a go. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. At any rate, the worse that could happen is that your heart-felt notes & well wishes are intercepted by hte "spam catcher," and it is never seen ... contol +alt+ delete! In this case, do what your heart feels... it may even be of some cathartic, theraputic benefit to you, regardless of it's uncertain reception.

(I'm making the assumption that both the email addy and birthdate were easily available online, maybe on an official fan site.)
