Last night's news for this area, told us to prepare for $4 per gallon around year-end. Sigh.....What's is it predicted to be like where you are?

It just seems to get earlier every year, and now preparations last for two months. by the time it is here I am glad it is over. I am not a Bah Humbug person, but it seems it is getting out of hand.

I just noticed that the number of points I have is the same as the year I was born. Does that mean with each point added, I become younger? I game!

I have 2 large dogs, and was buying a large bag of Purina at Wal Mart and was in line to check out.
The woman behind me asked if I had a dog?
Duh?
On impulse, I told her no, I was starting The Purina Diet again.
Although I probably shouldn't, because I'd ended up in the hospital the last time.
But I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in an intensive care ward with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms.I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet and that the way it works is to load your pants pockets with Purina nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry. The food is nutritionally complete so I was going to try it again.
I have to mention here that practically everyone in line was now enthralled with my story, particularly a tall
guy who was standing behind her.

Horrified, she asked if I ended up in intensive care because the dog food poisoned me?
I told her no, I'd been sitting in the street licking my *** and a car hit me.
I thought the guy standing behind her was going to need help as he staggered to the door laughing.

If I understand their issue, they want to get more of the profits from DVD and internet sales. They write the stuff, so I don't see anything wrong with that.

Junkyard archeology does it for me. I've escaped reality when I'm on an abandoned or bulldozed trash dump, home site or garbage pile looking for treasure. I'm intrigued by antiquity.
You?

There are several that I refuse to give up, so they go into storage for a future home library. Most others get passed on and the one I pass it on to is free to give it away as well. If the book is of an educational type, it is generally one I'll keep and mark up to refer to later.

Someone in your life that will point out to you when you've done something wrong and hold you accountable. I don't mean someone who nags at you or puts you down. I mean someone who reminds you that you are responsible for your words and your actions. In addition, you do the same for that person, or another person. This isn't someone you necessarily resent, but you know they are right when they raise an issue with you. In my case, it is hubby, and the accountability goes both ways.

Why do old people drive so slow?

Didn't know what to say - so i mumbled something about slower reflexes?

Can someone explain?

Back, spine, and hip bones? What is wrong with these young mothers? Just got back from the hospital, and at the shops the other day,and saw two little girls, teeteering, hardly able to walk, in tiny high heels. No more than about 8 years old? Have we gone mad?
