I must admit Wally that I love Si-Fi and fantasy, that's a huge section of our library... ... my husband likes the war stories, even the si-fi ones... we love books: psychology, metaphysics, mysteries, philosophy, religions, medieval history, westerns, civil war, the classics... even some of those terror thrillers... BOO!

Patricia Cornwell, Tami Hoag, James Patterson, Dean Koontz, Mary Higgins Clark, Dan Brown and of course, Agatha Christie. Also like Maeve Binchy, Fern Michaels and Mary Kay Andrews (the main character in her books is Weezie, who is very quirky and runs an antique shop here in Savannah).

Wally, you already know my favorites but I will add some more.
I forgot Michael Crichton -Jurassic Park. Loved that. Also, "Prey."
I also failed to tell you I love Patricia Cornwell books. I have read almost every one of those.
I believe I mentioned C.S. Lewis as well.
I have not read any fantasy books other than Jurassic Park (which I considered fantasy) but I have seen all the fantasy movies. (If that counts).
Also left out Dean Koontz. I love his books because most of them always have a dog in them and also because the ending is good as opposed to some of Stephen King. I prefer Dean over Stephen.

I really like mysteries, they're some of my favorites. I remember reading Nancy Drew and the Hardee Boys when I was young and I've been hooked since. I also enjoyed the Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins "Left Behind" series.

I used to really enjoy Tom Clancy's page turners, but they got so long I couldn't read them in a couple of sittings. I can't do without sleep like I used to! Let's see...
Agatha Christie, M.C. Beaton, Dorothy Sayers, Ellis Peters, Anne Perry, Candace Robb, Elizabeth Peters, Peter Tremain, P.C. Doherty in all of his guises for mysteries.
Cussler and Clancy for action/adventure.
The list for Scifi/fantasy is too long. Isaac Azimov and Tolkien were the masters. Mercedes Lackey and Anne McCaffrey are always fun!
