Do any of you plan to go out and see the space station?

I understand it will be visible up here about 5:37 AM tomorrow for about 6 minutes. I hope to remember to go look, just because it's there.

It will be visible to the naked eye. It's something like 225 miles up, so it would be easy to see.

I live in East Central Illinois about 45 miles east of Terra Haute Indiana. 2 weeks ago they said on the radio that the space station would pass by in the NW sky at 6:44PM Central and about 6 minutes later the space shuttle would be in the same place "chasing it.
My wife and I went out and waited and lo and behold here it came! Then a few minutes later the shuttle. Amazing! You could see them both at the same time one behind the other.

Quite a sight. I kept thinking that the people that built that are the same people that can't find Waldo. AMAZING!

I would like to try to see it, can you see it with the naked eye or do you need a telescope?

My husband goes out and observes the sky every night. He's going to look this up so we can see when it will be visible here. Thanks.

I'd like to, but I don't think weather will be permitting. It looks like it's going to be cloudy, and today we're getting our first snow flurries.
