To follow up on my previous question about my son taking my money. I was sitting here thinking "what am I going to do? My car is right on empty, I havent had any protein to eat in weeks, I cant swallow anymore rice. All I have is canned vegetables. I NEED meat, some fruit & I am out of water too."

So I asked God "help me please, I NEED to eat, I am going to get really sick if I dont."

Then I remembered a lottery ticket I had bought several weeks ago. was talking to my friend online and I was teasing him that if he checked his ticket when I was with him he always won. I remembered my ticket, checked and found out I had won $65 !!!

I put $15 worth of gas in my car, bought two steaks for $2.50 each, not very big ones, but each big enough for a meal, some fish, two porkcops, some squash, three potatoes, three oranges, an apple, and some water. Then I got carried away & splurged on sushsi for $2.99 because I have been craving wasabi. I feel rich, thank you God.

I don't mean sex! I am a 52 year old single female who left a 30 year marriage. I iss having someone to just talk to or sit and watch a movie with. Guys are either looking only for sex (which I am not) or their "soul mate" which I am not either. I just want a guy friend who's not attached to hang around with. Is that asking to much? I have looked inot the gay friend-but they are usually attached and their partner is jealous. Are there older single men out there who would have a platonic relationship with someone? How do you find them?

Has to be an actor hero, but not a super hero:
MacGyver
Starsky & Hutch
Charlie's Angels
Jack O'Niell
Elliot Stabler
Bobby Goren

It has to be in the air to be asking some of the more silly questions tonight.

My partner works away, and while he is gone, I have to record games for him, then he spends a lot of time when he is at home, watching them. This can be a bit irritating. Also, he is British and I record NFL. He is supposed to like football(soccer) for goodness sake. At least I understand that! No disrespect, but I just don't get it.

If you don't have a sense of humour you may not want to read this!

A turkey says to his pal the bull "I'd love to get to the top of that tree"

The bull says " Why don't you nibble on some of my droppings? they are full of nutrients and you should be strong enough to reach up there quite soon."

So the turkey gobbles up some of the bulls waste every day for the next week.
By then he is proudly perched in the top of the tree.

Unfortunately the farmer spots him and shoots him out of the tree.

Moral of this story :
Bull**** might get you to the top,
but it won't keep you there!

Oh Boy...do I know how this feels...hehehehe

A is for apple, and B is for boat,
That used to be right, but now it won't float!
Age before beauty is what we once said,
But let's be a bit more realistic instead.

Now:
A's for arthritis;
B's the bad back,
C is the chest pains, perhaps cardiac?

D is for dental decay and decline,
E is for eyesight--can't read that top line!
F is for fissures and water retention
G is for gas, which I'd rather not mention.

H is high blood pressure--I'd prefer low;
I for incisions with scars you can show.
J is for joints, out of socket, won't mend,
K is for knees that crack when they bend.

L is lost hearing--now what did you say?
M is memory lapses occurring all day.
N is neuralgia, in nerves way down low;
O is for osteo, the bones that don't grow!

P for prescriptions, I have quite a few;
Just give me a pill and I'll be good as new!
Q is for queasy. Is it fatal or flu?
R is for reflux--one meal turns to two.
S for sleepless nights, counting my fears,
T for tinnitus; there are bells in my ears!

U is for urinary; big troubles with flow;
V is for vertigo--that's "dizzy," you know.
W is for worry. NOW what's going 'round?
X is for x-ray and what might be found.

Y is another year I'm left here behind,
Z is for zest that I still have--in my mind.

If you have no money for food, couldnt pay your rent because you had to renew your drivers license and car insurance, and a friend sent money to your son to pay your rent for you and an extra$100 for food and your son kept the $100 and invited his friends over for dinner and went out and spent it on steaks for his "dinner party"?

Because I am collecting social services he had to send it to my son, and I HATE being dishonest, it goes against the grain, BIG TIME. But I have gone from about 130 lbs down to about 105 lbs in the last month and a half.

I receive $600 a month and my rent is $500, then there is the cell phone bill, overdue now, the cost of the storage locker $112 a month, and various prescriptions, vitamins etc that I have to pay for, gas for the car, water .. well y'all know how it is --

I am so angry at my son right now. If my friend knew he would have some kind of fit he would be so enraged. I cant even talk to my son right now.

Have any of you had the same thing happen...the instant another was in your area, you KNEW something extraordinary was going to happen? I have had that happen to me once in my life, a long story, but 9 months of incidents brought me to a place 1500 miles from where I have lived, as soon as I saw a car in my rear view window (it was a speck on the horizon) my heart went through the top of my head! Lasted 16 years! Amazing how fate/karma works in life. I have zero doubt of past life, of meeting the same souls in this life...how many times have you met someone you had either an instant "love" for or an instant aversion to...with no words spoken? This has happened to me on far too many occasions to think other than past life...I already knew the soul! Let me hear form you all on this subject...and yes, I am probably crazy, but I love being crazy! The phrase, "soul mate," is far over used in our society..but I have no other description for this...so many events led up to my being there.

Since all my questions with names get a violation,maybe we should stop addressing them by name when we answer their questions. They know who they are and so do we when we answer. It's just a thought. I know Yahoo states "no names"!
I don't want to do anything to compromise our bit of fun on seniors.

Last week, for two days in a row, I got up and NOTHING HURT. It was shocking, like I was 20 again. Full of energy, no pain. I can't imagine what I did differently. Just wondering if there's anyone else here who has experienced this, or if anybody has any opinions about why this might have happened. Wouldn't mind at all if I could re-create this every day!

Allegiance?
When we were children each morning there was a prayer in school followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
It seems to me that it gave a child something to believe in, an inspiration.
Now a days, there are so many people apposed to this that schools have stopped.
Do you think it is making a difference in our youths?
