I try to be positive about my answers most of the time. Others on this site have been hassled by negative people so, it was suggested we not reveal our Q@A or our E-mail address. I would like to contact many on this site and visa-versa but don't know how to do it and still keep out the mal-contents.

We all utilize yahoo answers for different reasons. Some people actually don't know that their real email address NEVER appears to other users when then communicate through this site.
Others are instigators.
Some are haters.
Some don't want the hate mail.
Some think this is a game.
I could name 100's of other reasons why...

I suspect the main reason might be because many people just have no interest in SHARING the truth with others or LEARNING about anything from others.

I come here to learn & share.
Lately, it seems like intelligent life has gone on a permanent vacation. Could it be the new user/abuser guidelines that have the overtones of a dictatorship type of ruler that hides the truth from the eyes of it's subjects via censorship of the written word? Whose idea was this to allow others to hide their words from the eyes of others?

I have had a working email since day one on this site & the past year has been one of the worst droughts in the area of communication & debate. I am starting to think that it is truly becoming a big waste of time! Then a good question like this shows up & I re-think my distain over Y/A!

They are cowards who cannot handle the debate/consequences of being challenged. Then there is the private questions and answers types. This behavior seems totally pointless on a site designed for sharing information.

I have no profile, I'm negative and abrasive if my answers bother you e-mail me I'd enjoy laughing at your attempt to correct my misconceptions.

We all did this to protect ourselves and our friends. Has nothing to do with what we say or answer on here. We are never ashamed of our answers only reactions to them by people who dont care about anything but themselves.

Not sure If I really want to answer this but I know I am guilty at times of saying what I think...but no I am not ashamed!... I went and locked things up and deleted the profile due to the trolls we seem to have been invaded with... one of our group suggested I do this...

No, I don't believe they are ashamed. They just want to be anonymous, cowards that they are, so they can come in and go out and think they won't be caught for spreading vileness, anger and prejudice.

Immature people wanting to cause hate and discontent have caused many likable, intelligent, caring individuals to not disclose Q's and A's or address.

A few probably desire no contact, but most are gonna have to change ID's before long cause they've been blocked out because of their BS. (Trolls))

Well, Duh! They are NOT ashamed of their answers, they answer only to irritate and rile...so why let them get you going? This site is filled with bored little kids..haven't you noticed that during the summer and on weekends, this activity picks up? During the week when school is in session, you don't see much of this crap. Phil
