I drive a new BMW 5 series and i like to play loud Reggae misic whilst driving, I keep getting funny looks from all the youngsters, Why is it so strange to the younger generation that i like a nice car and play loud music? I like to drive fast too just to get them going even more.

I'm only 69-but you rock. If we dont have the ability to play loud music and drive fast in our golden years, what do we have? The younger generation wants us to sit in a chair and be quiet. Yeah-well-phooey on them. See if that's what they want to do when they're in our place. ROCK ON.

You go!!! ....and go and go and go you lucky senior you! I admire you very much. I, myself love driving around with the top ( the car top that is ....grin) down and my music pretty loud. I can honestly say I could give a flip what others think.
Lets face it, we don't have as many seasons left as we did ,
so my attitude is enjoy each day and love your life. As long as I continue helping others, being a good person, good friend, good Mom, good Grandmother, I'll listen to my music loud if I please etc, as long as I don't hurt or bother anyone else. Yeah! ( P.S., I'm 20 some yrs your junior but will be the same at 88)

Younger people always want a nice car and play loud music, they think it is their thing.
You go girl, I am "only" 55 yrs young, and I like to drive and play loud music.
My granny was 100, and her music was always loud ( she was a little hard of hearing).

Right on Sweet Mama, keep on goin', girl!

You certainly are one lady after my own heart. Or is that, I'm one lady after your own heart? Whatever!

Don't 'cha just love the looks the younger ones give, they're worth a million bucks. They just can't believe that we Seniors could possibly groove to the stuff we do.

Have a great time!!!!!!! O, but keep the speed in check, that is unless you happen to be on an oval! Or a quarter mile straight track!

I think the youngsters just wish they could go along in that awesome ride and listen to your music blasting. It's great that you enjoy yourself. You shouldn't be speeding on the roadway, but I think it would be cool if you went to the local race track and gave them a run for their money. lol

LOL! Good for you!

Listen to what you want, drive what you want - the fact that you are still able to drive well at your age is great to me.

The younger generation needs to get out of their egocentric world.

Maybe they should understand older people may actually like the same things they do - including SEX!!!

not open.
