To follow up on my previous question about my son taking my money. I was sitting here thinking "what am I going to do? My car is right on empty, I havent had any protein to eat in weeks, I cant swallow anymore rice. All I have is canned vegetables. I NEED meat, some fruit & I am out of water too."
So I asked God "help me please, I NEED to eat, I am going to get really sick if I dont."
Then I remembered a lottery ticket I had bought several weeks ago. was talking to my friend online and I was teasing him that if he checked his ticket when I was with him he always won. I remembered my ticket, checked and found out I had won $65 !!!
I put $15 worth of gas in my car, bought two steaks for $2.50 each, not very big ones, but each big enough for a meal, some fish, two porkcops, some squash, three potatoes, three oranges, an apple, and some water. Then I got carried away & splurged on sushsi for $2.99 because I have been craving wasabi. I feel rich, thank you God.

YES! I believe in miracles!
OH ISOTOPE!!! Thanks be to God for His perfect timing! I have not read the post, pertaining to your son but, I will tell you that I am thrilled about what God has provided.
One thing is for sure, we may not be wealthy, in monetary ways....but, we are rich when God intervenes and we have the wisdom to see His ways!
I am so thrilled that you shared this! What a wonderful testimony!! ((((HUGS)))), precious lady!!

Praise God.
Two stories:
The father and brutal child abuser couldn't be nailed by DHS no matter how hard we tried. In despair I cried and begged God to somehow save these 4 little boys. Two weeks later he entered the hospital for pneumonia and when asked if he drank he said no. He was administeed medication not inetnded for heavy drinkers and he died a week later at age 33.
The wallet that contained my wedding rings was lost on the way to the jewelry store for a repair. I was sick. I started praying and never stopped because I know that nothing is hidden from the eyes of God. Three months later the video store owner called. She found it under one of the racks when they cleaned. Little did I know these wedding rings were held in the hands of the parents of the girl my son was to marry 10 yrs. later.
The unexplained? I choose to give God the glory.
Blessings- Juju

That is one crazy miracle! I think these things do happen, but it's just how people see it. It might be considered a miracle to those who believe, but to skeptics and critics, it's nothing more than a coincidence.
But then, I'm a firm believer that those who rely more on God, receive a lot more of these little packages of joy than those who rely on themselves. ;)
Btw, for protein, you should try tuna. A can of tuna will probably have more protein in it than a slab of steak. And you can probably buy some 10 small cans of them for $5.00 as compared to 2 steaks. Not to say that steak ain't good.. but if I were really out of money, I'd choose the more cost-effective option..

I believe in miracles..your shopping list sounds complete except I would have traded the steaks for hamburger and got several more servings out of it, and used tap water to drink instead of buying bottled water, and foregone the sushi for more fruit or veg..very happy you remembered your ticket and it was a winner..someone upstairs is definitely watching over you..

Isotope, life is so hard sometime and help comes when we least expect it to. You are a survivor and you will get through this terrible time. I think you need to let as many people as possible aware of your situation. You should call your local tv station and newspaper and ask if they could direct you to the proper agencies to get help. These people have many contacts and at this time of year especially there are those who can and will help. Help comes to those brave enough to ask for it. Love and good luck /Donna.

Every time I see a new baby, I believe in miracles. Yours is the first case I've seen of a real miracle happening to a real person (besides infants, that is).
I'm so happy for you. It helps to have a little faith in yourself, too! You really stretched that money to make it go as far as possible, too.

I sure do believe in miracles. You have to ASK God for them. Of course you can't be selfish and say "I want a million dollars and a perfect life"; but in times of trouble and just when you really, really want something out of good motivation and desire, all you have to do is ask and it will come eventually.
