Yes, it must be a real joke to people in China and Taiwan to make our flag.

Please be very careful what you wish for...many, many US Flag companies make flags for all nations, and this keeps many people here employed. Turn about is fair play...but I will admit, the only really nice US flags I have seen are already made here..most imports are printed, where as our nice flags are embroidered and sewn..we pay the price for what we get. As for all things US, many things would be outside our reach as consumers to purchase if they were made here. These are the unfortunatel facts of life. We cannot compete with electronics, but we are the leaders in computers...go figure! With our technology, we could produce any electronic device at competitve prices, yet we do not. WE produce many cars, yet many of us will spend more to buy foreign....have to admit, many of these foriegn cars are not made here..Toyota, etc. are all made in the states now. This household has put a ban on all things Chinese...no quality control, no conscience in what they produce..they are happy to poison people for a buck...no thanks.! Made in China means NO PURCHASE here.
Also, we, as a nation, have lost our artists in stone. When the National Cathedral was built, they had to import all carvings from Italy..we had no artists here to do the job. Often, there are reasons why things are done as they are....other times, there is NO good reason. Goldwing

Our flag flies in a lot more countries than our own just the same as how there are several places here where we fly the flags of other countries, so who cares whether or not they're made here?

You are so right !!! Also the Martin Luther King memorial should be made from granite from the USA not China and the stone masons should be American not Chinese and I think people should be up in arms over this !

I think that would be great but will never happen, even when it says made in America just means a lot of times it was assembled here and parts made in other countrys. Sad huh?

Well Hello!!! Like where do you
think like all our military uniforms are like made? Plus
like all of the "PAID" military?
Our soldiers don't get paid,
nor do they get decent insurance....but those mercenaries get more than
CEOs per year. CHINA...
it's China that makes every-thing and now they are
sending us food. Yes, my
lovelies, even the chickens you are eating started out
eating chinese bugs. Am I
going off the deep end?
U betcha! Oh God, who are
those big guys banging on my door? Quick, where's the
trap door?

Yes, I agree. I would love to see that. I'm wondering what else that we buy from China, will turn out to be life threatening to us.
