Are they as bigoted as these in USA?
No empathy for anyone who's different, want to abolish all welfare programs and let the poor sink or swim?
And do they tend to be relatively poor themselves?

I left home when I was 15, and I was able to work and rent a bedsit. That was in 1968. I'd say it's been impossible since about 1980, and I'd like to know why. Can we ask young people to be responsible while paying them kiddie-wages so they CAN'T look after themselves? I'm not saying it's a fact, it's my opinion, so relax. I'd be interested to know what other people think.

This is not meant to be racially offensive. My husband is Native American and we were discussing Cherokee Indians and how we have never seen anyone with facial hair, not even a moustache. Is this a cultural thing or do they not have the hair to grow? Would love to get an answer from a Cherokee and please no stupid answers, am asking a serious question not meant for a joke. Thanks so much!!

I was just wondering. I get comments from people all the time from people who say they have read my Q&A and some love me, some hate me. I have been called both and angry Black man and an uncle tom; sometimes as responses to the same question.

Why are people so quick to jump to conclusions?

Black women have such a rich, luxurious look. They seem to exude a kind of dignity. Why is it that they get a lot of flak and indignation? I don't understand it at all.

In fact, I don't understand why so many women in general are mistreated. Women are beautiful and have to live up to so much in society.

St Patricks Day is just whites. Stop misusing the term black Irish to fit what you want it to mean. It doesnt mean black people it means white Irish people with dark hair, so get it right. There are no black irish people. I know you are all desperate to be white and St Patricks day is the one day you can shine in that one brief moment and pretend to be white but guess what your not. You black people have Martin Luther King Day

time I have ever been involved anything like this. I'm from northern US and recently moved to the southeast where my coworkers have worned me this might happen and within a month it seems to have. This has just been a major culture shock. This person was supposably my friend, I have other black friends, and black family members, I am not racist. And I don't feel that I owe this woman an apology for her going to my boss and accusing me of being racist. What in the world would I owe her an apology for? There was no slander, no name calling nothing, just a disagreement!

as with many other things, Black people have taken something that was used as a means of exculsion and turned it on its head.

White folks enforced the one drop rule as a way to ensure discourage miscegenation, it kept Black people or even half blacks from owning property, voting, ect. and also ensured that half Blacks would have no claim to freedom.

But now that white people are seeing their birth rate decline along with there percentage of the population suddenly they see the one drop rule as a problem.

Is it because what started out as something that was meant to exclude Black people from society is now being used as something inclusive by Blacks. The evidence of Black people's inculsiveness is evident in the saying that Bill Clinton is Black (despite the fact that he probably has zero drops of Black blood and his administration put more Black people in jail than any other in History)

There has always been a strong healthy rivalry between the English and the French......and at times this can get quite heated/nasty on both sides of the English Channel (notice its ours)

But tell me America....what do you think of the French?

(ps...we don't mind them really)

Smart kids are called nerds; smart adults are called anti-social. Shouldn't we be looking up to these people instead of the people we see on the latest MTV reality show?
