time I have ever been involved anything like this. I'm from northern US and recently moved to the southeast where my coworkers have worned me this might happen and within a month it seems to have. This has just been a major culture shock. This person was supposably my friend, I have other black friends, and black family members, I am not racist. And I don't feel that I owe this woman an apology for her going to my boss and accusing me of being racist. What in the world would I owe her an apology for? There was no slander, no name calling nothing, just a disagreement!

no need for an apology. I understood what you were saying. I'm black and i see other black people use the race card all the time. Its a damn shame, it really is. especially being a black person myself and seeing other blacks use the race card. I don't believe in the race card i never have used the race card and i won't. if somebody is bein bluntly racist then more stronger measures are to be taken then just using the race card. but i'm not a violent person i hope it will never come to that

Blacks in America are the most privileged race on this planet, and your coworker is rubbing your nose in it. Do not apologize to the whiner. I'd suggest quietly putting photos of your black family members on your desk. And in your heart, realize that this coworker is teaching you to be, not a racist, but a realist. (Incidently, good blacks don't respect the whiners, either. Understand that the #&*( have been taught to play the race card, and those who do are not smart or moral enough to know it's not right.)

The same thing happened to me at work. I told the rude witch to go try her act on someone else. She called my boss. I told my boss that she was very vulgar and rude to me. (which believe me she was) And that as a mother of interracial children I am deeply offended by her ridiculous accusation. I didn't get in any trouble at all. Just stand up for yourself. Don't even think about apologizing if you did nothing wrong.

Well, you shouldn't apologize for anything. The race card is used often enough to justify a blanket statement like that.Nobody in their right mind would think it applies to every Black on the planet. But few people have minds these days. Most are brainwashed automatons.

They use it when they run out of excuses. I worked in a bank and didn't cash a check for a black customer. She said it was because I was racist. The fact of the matter was she was 1,200 overdrawn. Good luck to you and God bless.

You seem to be a sincere person, and i hope you realize no one group of people are all the same. and everybody has to do their own soul searching, you and the black lady who gave you a hard time.

Good Luck
