What are some cultures in History that were known for beautiful women?

Actually, this is a question for an art project. I wanted to draw a picture of an exotic woman, but i didn't just want to do the norm. I plan for the pic to be very exotic and with lots of colors. Thats where this question is comming from.

In the past, the women that were considered the most beautiful had fair porcelain like skin and European ancestry. Also, Asian women fell into this category of fine porcelain skin. Today, many women are emerging as being beautiful in their own right. As bizarre as this may sound, many people consider Whoopie Goldberg to be beautiful or Bette Midler. I think you are searching for the ideal object of beauty. People and cultures tend to be ethnocentric: feeling people from their own race are the most beautiful. Still, the women that grace the pages of most magazines and movie screens across the world are mostly Caucasian, blond, and blue eyed or brunettes like Elizabeth Taylor. I would approach this project from what beauty has endured over the course of time. Not some local fad, pop star, or icon. Look back at what women have endured over time (more than 50 years) Then see what they all have in common. Then draw the image of the ultimate beauty.

Dimples... I'd be happy to give you my opinion... but I first I'd just like to ask where this questions is coming from? Based on your other Q+A you seem legit and not someone trying to just start some race-baiting thread... so in the spirit that this is just a question bourne of innocent curiosity... I'd say that every culture has a percentage of beautiful women and it'd be purely a personal preference to say some have a higher percentage then others... so for my own prefernce... .I'd say that the most beautiful ones in the world are bi-racial american woman... many have the best traits of two cultures and when gifted with being tied to both they make the most facsinating and generally beautiful women ever!

Brazilian women or Italian women. Theres beauty is all parts of the world these just seem to be on the top of the list for me!

I'd have to say most every Caribbean country was known for having beautiful exotic women, Also Egypt and Ethiopia.

Because unlike modern cultures (i.e. US, Canada), the women took good care of themselves by non-artificial means (i.e. no breast implants, no plastic surgery or face lift).
