There has always been a strong healthy rivalry between the English and the French......and at times this can get quite heated/nasty on both sides of the English Channel (notice its ours)
But tell me America....what do you think of the French?
(ps...we don't mind them really)

Just to point out....our rivalry is a friendly one these days....and we are a lot closer than the 18 miles of sea would suggest. Im not on a witch hunt....just thought it would be nice to see what you guys thought.

Well the French seem to not like Americans that much, especially American tourists in their country. The French come off as snooty to me and not friendly. I'm not saying all French people are like this, just some.

Sorry to answer since I am not American and that is what you are looking for but I am going to throw in my opinion too :)
Yeah I like the French, they share a lot of the ideals we do and we don't have any propaganda (Unlike the U.S government) against the French.

It's not that we dislike each other, as the USA, England and France love each other dearly (buddy-buddies). However, France, just like other Countries, dont want to be involved in what's going on in the Middle East bet. the U.S., England and Iraq. I don't blame them either. The world isn't very happy with the U.S. and Egland at the moment. So that's where the "freedom fries" mess came from.

they are human beings just like everyone else. I don't think the English are better than the French and I don't think the French are better than the English.

We don't really think of the French. Our rivals are the Canadians.... I wonder if the dominant British settling that was historical of America has anything to do with the dominant French settling that's historical of Canada has anything to do with it? Hmmmmmm?!

The cowardly french ,supporters of islamic terrorism yet happy to export their own muslims to england via the channel tunnel.
Sold weapons to argentina during the falklands war,turned their backs on USA seeking support for war on terror.What short memories the french have.
Why would we have anything bad to say about these gastropod munching surrender monkeys?

I have no problem with them. I know some people here went bonkers a couple of years ago (freedom fries, indeed). There is no telling how everyone else feels, but I'm with you–I really don't mind them.
