Where in New York City can I meet British people?

I'd love to make new frineds from England. Where could I go? I am sure there are places in NYC where one can meet people from UK. I love English accent and I think it would be fun to meet new friends. Please let me know. Thanks

Visit the British pubs in the NYC area,and don't forget that being British or English may not be the same though they are related to one another.once again,visit the British pubs.
