The biggest one they like to bring up is Affirmative Action. They speak about it as if unqualified, black felons are given positions as CEO's. They fail to realize that White women are the biggest beneficiaries of Affirmative Action, yet I never hear them claiming a white woman is an "Affirmative Action Employee." Even if, you lost your job to a less qualified black applicant(this never the case), that would mean you are the Worst White applicant that your white boss was looking to get rid of. Nextly, they like to whine about how there are no "White Clubs." Where is the NAAWP? Oh, Boo HOO. White is not a culture, there are clubs for White ethnic groups, like the Scottish rite, French club, Italian club, etc. It is no ones fault but your own that you are too ashamed to celebrate your culture; don't blame Blacks or the Mexicans. You people are the Majority doesn't it get tired blaming everybody else for your countries problems the last 200 plus years, just a little bit? Get over it

I'm black, my hubby is white. Prior to our marriage, his mom expressed to him that he was "limiting his pool" by solely dating black women...and she mentioned she wished he'd marriage an "italian girl" as she is italian....anyhoo...

most recently, her and my father-in-law have made comments about hispanics....my hubby and i are house hunting and they have said "oh no you don't wanna live in that area, lots of hispanics there" and this morning my mother-in-law was talking about her brother who is moving to a condo in what she called a "not so good area..." "there's lots of hispanics there" (we live in Cali btw, hispanics are everywhere" - so my question is...if you live by hispanics, what does that mean? they have made reference to gangs, and stuff with hispanics...but me being a minority, why would they make that reference in front of me? what if i were hispanic? hell, i don't like living in all-white areas...would you be offended by this too? whats a good way to stop this?

There are so many people who are black who aren't of African heritage. Many dark skinned people come from Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, or any of a number of other non-African countries. Also, many people who come from Africa are lighter skinned. Do you think the term African-American is overused?

i don't see whats wrong with being dark-skinned and that everyone likes someone lighter. why is this?

Is it really true that White People will always hold Hatred in their heart against blacks?

And to my Blacks Folks don't let them make you hate yourself. Because I've also seen a lot of Self Haters on here. Black, white, yellow, red.

I was born in Atlanta Georgia and I love my Southern Roots.I attend Clark Atlanta, I love my ethic and erotic looks. I love dating BLACK and WHITE men. I love my father even though he is white. I love my mother even tho she is Black. Because at the end of the day, all these people putting out all this negative energy and hatred. Are the ones in "real life" not getting any love at all and I feel pity for you. So GOD BLESS YOU

hey , im a 19 yr old white guy. in my boxing gym i alway get in fights with black guys. im not racist at all , im not even white im Egyptian but i look really white. technically i am an african american myself. since Egypt is in africa. ,but I listen to heavy metal , and sport the long metal hair ect. i see 2 other white kids who tget along with them , but those white kids dress like them and listen to the same music as them and try to talk like them, its kinda pathetic. i try to let them listen to my music , but all they say is aww man that craka music given me a headacke. what can i do to find some common ground with these dudes , with out giving up my own style , music.

I've recently noticed that a lot of girls in my school have taken an interest in teasing me, particularly the popular ones. I've counted and about 15 girls have teased me so far. Usually they'll just talk really loudly about me, one even said I was ugly, which I'm sure as hell not. I was walking down the hall with my friend at lunchtime today and a whole group of them followed me to laugh at me....loudly! I don't know what the problem is, I dress normal, act normal and haven't given anyone a reason to tease me. I keep to myself and am generally nice to everyone. Why are these girls fvucking around with me and what can I do to stop it without causing a fight? I've been ignoring them up to this point, but enough is enough, I don't deserve this, please help!

because all i c on the hispanic channel on comercials are white women, and if there latina there super light! i don't see whats the big deal with everyone non-white liking white women alot, but they always put black women on the bottom, phu lease, black women are beautiful too.

Today I was looking on some of the resolved question because i notice the thumbs i never knew what they were so i started looking at my answers and the people whom got best answers and i notice one was answer at a 97% and I went to look at the answer and i notice the answer was a person whom had something against other raciest and thats find because the person whom ask the question was not me but the answer related to African Americans now what urked me was that yahoo this answer rightly so Middle eastern are the new African Americans in this country now I know that that's not how it really is however why would a multibillion company allow such answers and i relize we all come from diffrent walks of life and we don't have all the same beliefs and personal there some things i don't care for but i try to use discrestion in my wording i think this reply was appauling and cold and maybe think yahoo is somewhat of a bigotry for allow a answer like this to when over what do you think?

When I was at Virgin megastores on Saturday, I needed some information so I asked a black guy who was working there.

I said "Hey Tyrone I could use some help here". The black guy wasn't too happy with that and started accusing me of racism. I explained that Tyrone is a common black name and it was just meant as a joke. The black guy then went on a rant about slavery and how blacks are going to exact revenge on whites in the near future by making whites their slaves. Needless to say he refused to help me.

All because I said: "Hey Tyrone".

I don't want to offend anyone, and if I do , please forgive me. I have said hispanic for the majority of my life, but recenty I have heard more people saying Latino. I was wondering if one was more appropiate. Which one is perferred? Is it like Black and African American? Do people really even care?
