I agree.
Some people have been brought up that way by racist parents and their beliefs and really just don't know any better, which still doesn't make it right.

You will never get perfect equality because some people take it too far. When communism started and everyone was equal, people with glasses got beating up because glasses where seen as a symbol of being smarter than everyone else by some extremists.
It would be lovely if we could all just get along but in a world of complete equality you lose some free will and people aren't prepared to do that. Just look at the problem with political correctness.

It is quite simple. Some do not like ugly people - no law against that.
Some do not like smart people - no law against that.
But surprise, surprise they rare give any indication of it!
When it come to colour there is a tendency for it to show.
But consider - All the politically correct tripe that made 'black' a bad and unusable word. WHY! - Why was black not promoted as a good word?
Race laws were supposed to promote and protect people from racial prejudice but sadly only get used in one direction - black complaining on white. If a white complains about black, nothing happens. WHY - racial prejudice does happen in both directions.
So whilst thankfully a large part of the worlds population are learning not to be racist, it is a sad fact that the legislation and political correctness meant to stop it is actually now probably fuelling it!!!

Most people are racist because that is how they were raised. I hardly ever go to my mom's house because she says she isn't racist but some of the things she says tells me she is. I can't stand to be around her for more than a couple hours at a time. As soon as she starts talking racist I have to leave.

Everyone is different. How can we be equal? We shouldn't try to make every race equal, because then we'd all be the same. And to who's standard should we all be equal? We need to learn to respect every culture. Every race has their different qualities, and every race should be respected and admired for the wonderful things they have accomplished. We should work for equal opportunity, but not for equal outcome.

Sadly as a human race we can not be equal at anything, whatever the subject, somone always wants to be better, bigger etc.
IGNORANCE plays the biggest part of all troubles on earth, because we are SO PRIMITIVE.!!!
The tribal theory also plays its part.

Some people detest people who are different, they would not think like that if they became friendly with others from other races. They are so bigotted, they won't even try....their loss.
I've learnt a lot from people of different races, diversity is wonderful and world peace is only possible if we try to understand others' points of view.

we are equal in gods view. but we come from cultures that go way back for centuris and we look different and that is undeniable. one is not better but damn sure different. have thiings in common but use differnet slang and often differnt languages. like totally differnt music for some reason. and like differnt clothes. dont lie and deny differnces that are built in genetically. don't deny ancient cultures that are hard wired inside do not exist. equal, okay. but damned sure different. lets just say you got a lotta different tribes around the world. you gonna be happier in a tribe where you blend in and groove. jsut anywhere and anybody won't do. CANNOT FORCE THAT ON PEOPLE. NOT FORCE. NOT GOVERNMENT FORCE! OR YOU GET HATRED AND VIOLENCE.

People are racist usually because they have no life of their own, and are shallow, and nosey, and pay too much attention to what everyone else is doing.

because this country was founded on racism and murderand stealing so alot of people still have that ingraded in their head if someone isn't my color i shouldn't hang out with them some people have ignorant grandparents who pass it down to their parents and so on some just haven't been around different races and don't know how to act or talk and just believe the stereotypes and then there are the people who have ran into the worse of one race or had a bad experience with one race and choose to hate all of them of put them in the same category we should be able to call ourselves human and that is it but people want to label everybody
