When I was at Virgin megastores on Saturday, I needed some information so I asked a black guy who was working there.

I said "Hey Tyrone I could use some help here". The black guy wasn't too happy with that and started accusing me of racism. I explained that Tyrone is a common black name and it was just meant as a joke. The black guy then went on a rant about slavery and how blacks are going to exact revenge on whites in the near future by making whites their slaves. Needless to say he refused to help me.

All because I said: "Hey Tyrone".

Hey Billybob,

I have no idea why a black person would be offended. You obviously have a low emotional I.Q. and lack of compassion for other people. This black man should have had more empathy for your ignorance.

yea you shouldn't of said that, thats like if somebody said "hey becky, can you help me for a moment" becky is a common name that black people use for white women, if somebody said that to me i would be extremely offended, but i have me some black people that will take a perfectly unoffensive incident or sentence and twist it completey around so to make it racist when it wasn't at all

im offended by this question AND your avatar!!! lol no sa. some people are just racist minded, when they see someone from another race, they get prepared expecting that everything that comes out their mouth is racist, as you experienced with that guy. I must admit i have called white girls "becky" not because I am racist, but its better to call them by a alias then "hey you"

Perhaps when one is in a store needing assistance, they can take .0001 seconds to read the person's nametag instead of acting like an ignorant bigoted moron.

Some people get what they deserve.

I would of beat you up... If I call you a racial thing like that I would except for you to beat me up too. (Or atleast try) Maybe its because some people demand a certain amount of respect because they give that same respect back.

It's part of the entitlement mentality they've learned from Jesse Jackass, Fat Al, and the liberal media. At the slightest offense they whine "raysism" and threaten to sue for a hand-out.

Perhaps you should have said "Hi Mr. Jefferson, would you put down that watermelon and bucket of KFC for a second to do your job?". Blacks won't be able to make us slaves, they can't control their own race, why would they be able to control ours? I certainly welcome them to try though.
