I know some people are sweet but to me most of them are really mean if you look at it my way and I can't stand it.Maybe thats why i get in most of the fights i get into because people are full of it and I can't stand that.

Do white people really think that Black americans are better off because of them?

Do white people really believe THEY civilized US? (If it were not for the Moors in Europe would still be in the dark ages. It was the moors that preserved the knowledge of greece and rome.)

why do some people keep claiming they are being held down? And if they were held down, isn't it more horable to just keep silent and work hard, instead of bitching and moaning? I'm sick of people pulling race cards.

All i hear on yahoo ask is that minorities are being held down by whites.

It makes white/european people look like antagonists, that has got to stop.

I know people seem to think northern accents are somehow more "proper" and more educated. But when I hear northerners talk it really grates on my ears. They don't speak as smooth as I'm used to hearing my English, and they tend to speak too fast and through the nose more. And they say "you guys"-even when its females. But then they think its stupid to say "y'all"? I don't understand. Besides, not all southern accents are improper.

Im tired of people thinking that redneck and southern is the same thing it isnt. Southern is laid back and in many ways more genteel than the North. Southerners are taught to have proper manners, and be hospitable. Also, we speak slower and not through our noses like some do in the North. Rednecks are just a class of people. But when I tell people Im from Virginia, they start making "redneck" jokes. Why?

i hear asians set the grading curve because they are very smart. Since so many asians get into good universities. I hear it's harder for asians to get into good schools. They let africans and mexicans in because they think they have a disadvantage. now I have a "dumb" chinese friend. He says his grades are bad and he has ashamed his friends and family with all As and one B. He said he has failed his parents. He said he won't get into his dream university because he is asian. The university makes it hard for guys like him get in.

I mean, it is not a racist word, it came from the Mexican-American War when the Mexicans wanted the U.S. people to leave, [[since the U.S. had green uniforms]] they would say Green-Go or Green-goes...however, right now it is just a word for a Estadounidense [person from the U.S.A]. I was just wondering, do people get offended? I know many people who don't or they call themselves that, they don't take it to the heart, not that it means anything bad. But do others have an opinion? I know I don't mean it offensively.

That word doesn't really compare to s pick, or w etback, the n word, or those kinds of words. That's my opinion. Wondering about others. =)

This is for all of the black people that act like a stereotypical black person. You know who you are. Remember, the statistics don't lie; my eyes do not deceive me, we all see you acting this way. (For all the other blacks that don't keep up the good work, you are working for a better world.)

Why can't you stop speaking Ebonics and talking with that same old black accent. It sounds ghetto and ruins your chances of getting a good job because people think you are ignorant. You think that getting pregnant and having ten thousand babies’ daddies makes the black race look good? You think acting ghetto in public makes you look good?

It's bad enough so many black males are in prison, but it is very embarrassing when these black guys can't even run from the cops because they keep tripping on their low hanging pants. It is absurd. This may seem racist but you need a kick in the butt. Stop making yourself a target for racism by acting this way.

No matter what country we live in, no matter the colour of our skin, the language we speak, our gender, or sexual preference and religion, we all deal with prejudice.

We've all dealt with being discriminated against...some more than others.

But do you think this issue will ever be resolved? On a national level? A global level? What is your opinion?

I am constantly hearing, (especially from my parents who hate that my girlfriend is black) about how black women are not considered attractive. Can someone honestly and intelligently tell me why white slaveowners mated with their black female slaves? Most of the people who could afford slaves had families and lovely wives! (which often come with money) If you say it was because they did not consider the slaves human then it is even sicker. There had to be a reason behind it and I want to know why. I want to know why these men could do this to those women and yet today they still have to suffer the stigma of being considered less. I had to see my girlfriend cry yesterday because of some stupid thing my father said and I just want to know why. I'm not trying to be mean, I just want the truth.

I noticed that in asian families asian parents stress obedient above all. Thus they discourage assertiveness. As the result of asian child rearing pratices: Asian children growing up are unable to fend for themselves from bullies. The world is full of bullies.
