To me I think it looks wrong. I don't think white people should listen to that kind of music. It's not right. It's just not right, man. It's just not!
i listen to country, like keith urban, & southern rock. That is real music.

Shut up. People can do whatever they choose, listen to whatever they want, especially if its their money they are spending on these CDs and whatever. You opinion is changing no ones' minds. Maybe some people have a problem with your listening to country, I think country music is boring and really whiny and I can't really stand the accent, I do love Martina and Faith though, and Reba isn't all that bad, but for the most part the majority of people, white included can't stand country music. And btw, black people started rock... or at least were prevalent in the rock scene... You have deep rooted issues dude....

You've got to be really ignorant or really joking. I'm a music major. I listen to every kind of music known to man. I'm no expert at any one of them yet, but I know talent vs no talent. Most country musicians are horrible poets. Most Rap and R&B artists are amazing poets. *notice I say MOST* There's always an exception. I would say that Billy Ray Cyrus can eat a cow pie for his music. Chatanooga Choo Choo and Watermelon Hole... REAL? Ahhhhhh... that can be debated. I listen to plenty of R&B.... Rap... Jazz.... Classical.... Opera... Rock.... Musical.... Alternative.... Love Songs.... Country... Blues... House... Indie.... Electronica.... Heavy Metal.... And even a little punk music too... I try to stay hip and cool... and knowledgable about everything. Don't be a hater. Be a Lover! Get an education on a subject before coming to racist, prejudiced conclusions like that.

Anyone can listen to whatever they want. I personally love all music, and while rap is not my favourite style I do listen to it and like it (I am white).
Who is to say what is or is not allowed in Music? ...No one, of course.
When it comes to music there are no rules. MUSIC IS A UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE!!!! It transcends all races, cultures, ages and everything else.
Take into account of rappers like Eminem. Do you think white people shouldn't be allowed to listen to his music, or even black people for that matter?
Maybe you should appreciate music for the sake of music, and also the beautiful and awesome impact it has on the world and people's every day lives. Don't be so ignorant!

I think it`s a bit weird, that when I look at american music culture today from here, europe, all I come up with is black music and rap. I used to remember you had some seriously good music in the 80`s, dance and other styles. It was so good, you added it to movies and television series too.
Now, all you appear to have is R&R =rap and reality tv :)
I feel sorry for you guys there, I really do.

This question has to be a joke. we can listen to what we want to, no laws against it, besides who is it hurting. You like country , great for you, i am white and to me, country sounds like crying and whining about drinking a bottle of whiskey or my dog died or whatever, but i dont' put you down for listening to it. I mean some of us , like myself, grew up around rap and live in urban areas, not the country, so we relate more to the urban experience.

I like all kinds of music, including rap/r&b and country. If we're ever limited to ONE type of music per race, I'll stop listening to anything.

UMMMM.....I listen to anything I feel like. I don't think its wrong that white people listen to rap. I just like alternative like Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco. And other people that sing pop like Teddy Geiger and John Mayer. You on the other hand ask stupid questions and are an idiot!

Whites can listen to rap if they want..but as for me..I don't because I don't like it..to me...rap is really 'crap" just without the "c".
