The “white” view-point has always been: “you know what… it happened, now its over, so let’s just all forget about it and move on.” Black people find it very hard to “move on” because the damage has already been done, and it still affects many black folks today. You know…the aftermath of Hitler and his treatment of the Jews during the Holocaust had not resulted in Jewish people saying: “OK, Hitler was a terrible man, let’s just move on and forget about all things in the past…and pretend the whole ordeal never happened…. Germany paid $715 million dollars to the state of Israel and its post holocaust survivors in “reparation funds” and “rehabilitation efforts.”

It seems like all my friends are from different financial situations, cultures, religions, morality, interests and would be appalled to learn about my other friends.

Well maybe not appalled but would have nothing to talk about. Does anyone else have something like that? How do you deal with it? If I throw a big party, it would be pretty sucky.

Particularly on the operating table. What if they were mad at you, say for looking at them wrong. Think they may have a little "slip of hand" with the scaple? Think the gangsta nurse may give the "wrong medication" by "mistake" and finish you off. I'd really like to hear from young adults who are apart of this violence.

I was forced to learn how to type, because, back in the stone-age early 90's, I couldn't afford to pay someone to type my college papers. So I used a primitive typing program to teach myself how to type for real.

However, it seems like I'm the only person in the world who doesn't use the 2, 3, or 4 finger method of "typing" (reminiscent of a monkey trying to squash an ant for dinner). So I'd like to know, am I the only one that bothered to learn this?

Arn't cultures the way they are for a good reason? Maybe some cultures are not suited for freedom and democracy. If their culture embraces a religion that suppresses freedom of expression and demands submission how is it realisitic to expect them to change within our lifetime?

You call us "Cracker", "Honkey", "Whitey", "The Devil" and even "The Man" and you think it's OK. But when we call you, "N***", "Kike", "Towelhead", "Sand-N**", "Camel Jockey", "Beaner" or "Chink" you call me a racist. You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you, so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live You have the United ***** College Fund. You have Martin Luther King Day. You have Black History Month. You have Cesar Chavez Day. You have Yom Hashoah You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi You have the NAACP. You have BET. If we had WET(white entertainment television) we'd be racists. If we had a White Pride Day you would call us racists. If we had white history month, we'd be racists. Blacks are allowed in Miss America...but they still have Miss Black America, If we had Miss White America, we'd be racists If we had an organization for only whites to "advance" our lives, we'd be racists. If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships, you know we'd be

My Grandpareents were born in Spain and I am considering applying for Spanish citizenship for several reasons 1) It would allow me to travel and work easily in Spain and the rest of the EU 2) I have many family in Spain and it would be easier for me to visit them and stay longer. 3) My family owns property in Spain and it would be easier for me to rent orlive in that property if I was a Spanish citizen.

Has anyone out there been in a similar situation and are there any reasons legal or economic why an American Citizen would not want dual citizenship with Spain?

Thank you.

This might be a dumb question... but it's something I've thought about a bit. You know how we have little pockets of people who live primarily in the big cities who are from other countries and often keep many of the olden traditions? Like Chinatown or Greektown. Are there places overseas where Americans live like that? I know there are Army bases and stuff but are there simple little towns or neghborhoods that just sprung up by themselves. If so, where? And what kind of places are they?
