How do you think European colonism negatively effected African nations and people ?

Lets see:
1) integrated tribes w/o knowing the culture of history of war between them
2) Kept the people in abject poverty and ignorance
3) Murdered them for control of natural resources
4) NO EDUCATION; NO MEDICINE;
5) South Africa!!!!!

Converted the economy to cash crops, rather than subsistence (which means you no longer grow your own food).
Split and merged people's willy-nilly so groups were cut up and put in the same political unit with other groups who didn't share their language or culture.
Murdered and captured who knows how many people.
