West Side Story is a big influence on how I felt Puerto Rican's behaved when I was younger. I knew they didn't sing & dance in the streets but I thought they were heavily into gangs and street fighting.
I know now how incorrect that sterotype is.

Big noses. One of my best friends in Puerto Rican, and I make fun of her for that. And since I'm a white girl, I get the 'smell like a wet dog' reference. It's all in good fun unless someone you don't like is saying it.
