Racism. Who has it worse???

Blacks as a whole seemed to have just accepted it. I'm white myself and am indifferent to racism toward whites, so I can only assume there are other whites like me. Muslims, I don't hear all that many comments about them.

I'd have to say either Asians or Hispanics. Many of my Hispanic friends get that 'did you jump the boarder' crap every other day and my Asian friends get the 'don't eat my cat/dog' stuff and people call them 'Ling-Ling' constantly.

As an anthropologist I can say that racism is prevalent across the board. Most cultural groups have a rival spirit. Here in the United States you will find racism spread equally with majorities, be it African American, White, etc doing most of the work. Simply because they are the majority, you will hear more from them.

In the end the world in a hogpog of multiple stocks interweaving themselves through out the laboratory of history. Biologically we see that attempts at measuring brain capacity have not yielded any evidence supporting one variation of man over another. On the contrary we find we are quite alike across the spectrum (Gould p.51-61).

Historically the ancient white man would say that it is the Germans, Nordics, Alpines, Anglo's, etc that are the greatest. A Chinese scholar would be quick to say that this is incorrect. For 2,000 years until just this last century China was along lasting power house of enlightenment and accomplishment. Even today it is quite a minor set back in the coarse of history. It was the Muslim who were the great record keepers while Europeans lived in filth during the Dark Age. In fact historical every continent, with the exception of the one frequented by penguins, has boosted a great people of differing colors creating great civilizations. "History is color-blind, and can develop a civilization (in any favorable environment) under almost any skin." (Durant p.29)

In the end we are all guilty and must be aware of that. The situation in Rwanda is a great example of two racial groups almost identical to the average on-looker. The Nazi's against Jews? Stalin killing his own people. Many examples can point out that it is not just racism. It is fear, ignorance, and hate at work. Apparently people need to be down on someone. It doesn't just have to be another color. Ignorance is a pandemic problem. History is color blind and this can be seen in any conflict through out its written course (Diamond). Humanity sees this color though, in the end it is an illusion, because we are all the same species. We are an interesting people. So there know on has it worse. Maybe for a time. In the end we are all victims of the ignorant way of life.

Everybody. You cannot determine who has it worse, but most minority groups do I guess, including women of all races. White males are the best off in comparison to everyone else. But I don't think we should be dividing ourselves up with which group suffered the most racism. There are different periods of time when some suffered more than others. We all suffer and lets just leave it at that.

I think Blacks,Muslims,Hispanics,and A tie between whites and Asians.I think blacks have worse because of the long history and Muslims have only had It hard for a couple of years.

not only am i offend you consider "muslims" a race, i'm amazed that people like keels actually determined that you meant arabs. Wow. never mind that hispanic isn't a race either.

wow. who has it worse? hard to tell. what is white in america isn't white in russia, what is black in america isn't black in latin american etc. So i think the best generalization which i'll actually bother to make because it's late, i have nothing better to do and don't feel like sleeping, is to say that poor people have it the worst. whatever group of people has the most poor in it then has it the worst.

first of all the first person who answered is wrong!mexicans did not commit the 9/11 attack,that was muslims. and i think muslims have it worse right now because of the whole war on terrorism thing going on.it very easy now a days to blame a muslim. from my point of view.

It varies from place to place.

Although strictly speaking, the only two "races" listed in your question are black and white. "Hispanic" is an ethnic description (someone of Spanish or Spanish speaking heritage of any race). "Asian" is not a really a race--there are many different races from Asia. And "Muslim" is a religious description not racial. There are Muslims of all different races.

Plain and simple its the whites, we do anything and WHAM!!! We're being racists...and an excellent point to prove this....lets see, what would be said if we made a channel called WET(white entertainment network) or a white college organization, the NCPCA(National Caucasian People College Association). Can't happen, we'd be called racists...yet its fine to have other organizations for other races to have these. We dont have a white history month...my only question is this...when is the straight pride festival...oh wait that would be wrong too...
