Whaddaya mean girls can act rough and everything? They get called tomboys, butch, unfeminine... whatever. And if they get into business and assert themselves then they're "bitchy." It goes both ways.

Because it's based on paternal, or a male oriented system. Now, nothing inheritantly is bad about this: it's no worse than if it's a female oriented system. The thing is, however, a woman taking on some traditional male icons is normal, since we are aspiring to the male ideal (note; I'm saying some) and to _gain_ power.
On the other hand, a man taking female oriented things on could be considered a rejection of power and authority. Therefore, the man could be considered to be passive and therefore not striving for the ideal.
Now, music and art are considered male in certain cultures, and there are some music and art areas where a guy can be considered just as manly as any other guy (who hear hasn't wanted to party like a rock star), but for the most part, we've subjugated these to the female realm. Add to the fact that we have stereotypes of gays, which I think have been perpetrated more since we've become more accepting of homosexuality, and there you have your answer.

Ya regrettably maximum adult males do hate them and im rather constructive thats regularly becuase such an excellent type of girls love them i think of their jealous. Your precise they are not insanely reliable yet they are rather good. As for regularly gay adult males, thats authentic yet my guy chum who does have a female friend likes them yet he appears to be like a touch on the gay aspect even tho hes courting a chick. properly the very undeniable truth that they are gorgeous, they don't sound poor, and fogeys won't be able to locate some thing incorrect with them are the genuine reason that women like them. i personally am more desirable into emo rock music like My Chemical Romance yet my mom is a pysco and could no longer enable me take heed to thier music reason they swear an have deep lyrics so I do have the Jonas Brothers CD reason what else am i think to take heed to.

So John legend, roger daltry, itzak perlman, eric clapton, chuck berry, john mayer, kanye west, snoop dogg, paul mccartney, yoyo ma, stevie ray vaugn, james taylor and rob zombie are considered gay?
Of course your question is ridiculous on it's face but when you factor in how top female athletes are constantly scrutinized for signs of lesbianism it makes your premise all the more foolish

i don't know. i guess it's just out culture. sports are considered unisex and both boys and girls like it. Guys can like music and not be considered "gay." A guy can be into rock or hip-hop or rap or other music like that, but classical is strictly girls only. I see plenty of guys interested in the arts and I don't consider them weird.

I agree that the world is completely unfair. Girls don't always get to do what they want, either, but for different reasons. I do feel for you, though. My husband is the better decorator in our home, and his friends tease him about it. It is unfair. I don't have an answer for you, but I do completely understand where you're coming from on this one.

Who has the authority to allow or to forbid? Nobody, except God.
Pray reading the Holy Books and think, behave, act as God commands.

for the same reason men are allowed to sleep with anything that moves, but polygamous women are called whores.... it's just another perk of a society with double-standards.

I dunno. I guess the stereotypical gay guy is just usually into that stuff, but I'm not one to assume. If a guy wants to do the more 'girlish' stuff, I won't question his sexuality unless he comes out. Do what you want, free country. Make the stereotype dissapear.
