I'm emo, and I don't see how much different we are from what is considered normal. For gothics, with the exception of the fashion, I don't see that much difference unless you stereotype (which is a stupid thing to do in my opinion).

I mean I have a sense of humor and most jokes are harmeless but if you say a joke about a white person it is just good humor, but make a joke about a african american, hindu, jew, arab, etc it is taboo. This goes for real world and hollywood.

Do you think they would ever make a movie like White Girls about African American women?

Just curious as to what you think.....

Wont even go into why there isnt a White entertainment telivision, a united white college fund etc.........

Has anyone noticed when people ask an ironic question here or with a slight twist of sacrasm, the brits or others answer with a witty comment while the americans answer with a doom and gloom or NO DONT DO THAT its bad for you etc! I love americans by the way I lived there for a while its just something I noticed.

I need a site that shows how many people Immigrated to the US from Asia, not just an overall total, but each specific country or the top 5 or whatever, I DONT NEED AN OVERALL TOTAL OF ALL AISIAN IMMIGRANTS, i need one with each countries immigrant numbers, a site would be helpful

One of the guys I work with told me he disliked Walmart because he didn't like being around poor people. I told him I didn't care about who was at the stores since I ignored the other shoppers anyways. Do people resent poor people these days? Why the dislike? Does it mean anyone can speak anything they like ?
If so, why does Mr A take Mr B to court if Mr B calls Mr A " s.o.b, pig, f**k**g bas**** (or any other derogatory names ..."
If freedom means saying anything you want , Mr B has done nothing wrong .

Are there some o.b. markers ? (out-of-bound markers ).

Pl don't make fun of my question because I'm not American and would seriously want to understand the culture and some laws of America.

And by the way, I'm a non-white person myself. I'm just wondering why there are organizations for blacks and hispanics, but if white people were to organize a "white people" only club there would be a huge uproar from other races? It seems like it is prefectly legitimate for blacks or hispanics to have clubs, organizations, magazines, etc. that are specifically for people of their race, but it white people try to do the same thing, they are called racist and accused of committing hate crimes. I am not trying to stir up trouble by asking this question as I really do want to know what people think about this. I notice this a lot because I am of a minority race, but I appear white, so I get discrimated against by minorities who think I'm white. It sucks!

for some time i wondered how sanford and son
which is a show primarily directed at black americans
had and continues to have such a large appeal to non blacks
many non blacks maintain a very favorable opinion of this show
i dont even watch television but i have watched sanford and son online because it is so darn funny

This is directed only to the cowards that run their mouths off in cyberspace because nobody knows who they really are here and they don't have to take any accountability for what they say.

Before some of you idiots run your mouths off like "Answers Addict" does, you might stop and think that there are kids on this site and just because you're anonymous in cyberspace doesn't mean you should act like a classless idiot. Use some manners and think about the fact that a child may be reading your answers! There is no reason to say anything here that you wouldn't say to somebody face to face - especially a kid. There are plenty of web sites out there for foul-mouthed perverts. I'm pretty sure this isn't one of them.

Every time i use Yahoo Answers i read messages from
people saying good or bad words about their or other nations.
Can you mention 5-10 reasons for making YOU proud of
YOUR nation (or Ethnic group for example Arabs, Afroamericans etc.). What did you make for mankind?

Not a lot more to say on this one.
Except not sure if it should be in this category but its the most apt I think, as people who follow religion generally do not consider themselves to be what is proven (we are animals).
And therefore racist comments should more correctly be termed 'breedist' !.
