hate the way they make every sentence sound like a question cos their voice goes up at the end, and the Australians are even worse at this

what's annoying about our accents?? We speak English the way it's suppose to be spoken. Now YOUR accents, however, are more annoying than anything in the world. You can't understand a freakin' word you say. And it's not A R S E....it's A S S!

There are many different American accents. Some are annoying but others are not. Some are positively cute.

'American' is such an expandable term.
Personally, i love the Californian and New York accents. Suave n Sexy.
I hate the Texan accent. Reminds me of people from Somerset (no offence to Somerset), simple and definately not sophisticated.
Mind you, all the American Leaders (well, most of them), come from Texas.....wierd!
Thats probobly why the states are rammed with sh*t!

i'm american and I FIND them annoying but,not as annoying as the attitudes.our kids here are pretty hip but,our older people are a sight.I personally love the english accent of a beautiful english lady!I have one that comes to the store I own.I'd jump the ship and sail back to England with her at the down of a hat.

Excuse me, but there are many American accents. Each state and region of state speak differently. I am an American, so i really cannot answer this question, but i would think that someone must find us, or me fascinating!

My god yes the majority of americans have a nasal voice they speak through their nose which is really annoying, however before anyone complains i hate my own accent, i'm classed as a geordie and i sound ridiculous

I like the American accent! but i found it difficult to those who were from the deep south coz i didn't understand a word they were saying to me when i went in September.

I have an "American" accent but the accent in America I can't stand is a southern accent. I'll get some thumbs down but I can't help it.
