Don't they feel cold? Don't they know that it is hard for another person to take them as seriously as when they cover their bodies a bit more?

But why would a woman want to turn any guy in the street on? I wouldn't want unwanted attention from someone I don't know or am never going to like. Does it make her feel powerful knowing that someone will be turned on? If you have a daughter, do you want other guys to leer at her?

Yes, I have a problem understanding why so many women are willing to wear those ridiculously high-heeled stilletoes and risk damaging their feet, toes, legs and general well-being. I have seen young women walking bare feet holding their red patent stilletoes in Leicester Square on Friday evenings, and I think nothing makes them look more silly and pitiable. I also feel very sorry when I see people have to pull their trousers up every five steps they walk. As for people showing their butt, I think it looks very unhygienic because it reminds others too much of a particular body function.

Personally, I'm turned off by this fashion statement--most of the time. Some women are built to wear these types of pants and others definitely not.
It's a real turn-off to get the butt crack or the thongs. What's really bad is when women wear these pants in a professional work setting.
One major problem is that manufacturers stock the shelfs with **their** perception of the latest style and if women (or men: please get rid of the pink dress shirts!) want to keep up to date on fashions, they are somewhat forced to buy what is available.
You bring up a good point, though. Why do women wear high heels in winter? Why do women wear very long finger nails in a work setting and then have to be extra cautious (reducing their productivity) when type or doing most activities? Why do men wear baggy pants and then spend half their time (again, reducing productivity) pulling up their pants?

Why does it matter how other people dress. If you don't like it, don't do it, but let everybody else do what they want.
To be fair, I've often wondered if they get cold too !
The problem is that people are generally more interested in fashion and looking like so-called celebrities than the important things in life like comfort and enjoying themselves.
You learn an important lesson in your 20's - it's cool to not be cool !
As my account name suggests, I am going to argue the point about going barefoot. If the shoes hurt, don't wear them. There is nothing pitiful, insanitary or dangerous about walking with bare feet - your feet just ge a bit dirty, then you wash them.
City streets are usually very smooth, well paved and comfortable to walk on barefoot - yes i do it myself.
We all know how silly women look tottering around in 'torture' shoes - guys just find it funny. The reason guys like the shoes is that they show off your pretty toes.
Why not cut to the chase, loose the shoes, show those toes and go barefoot !

I cured my sciatica with this natural treatment http://cure-sciatica.info
Normally, I would not answer a question like this as my expertise is generally in medication but I had severe sciatica while I was pregnant with my 3rd child (after having had twins) and I had sciatica so bad that I was finding it difficult to walk. I tried massage therapy and physical therapy and could not take medication
I went to the chiropractor and the pain was instantly relieved. My hips and lower back were out of alignment because I had carried twins the year before. On occasion a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) can also work but they usually only work on one joint at a time - the chiropractor will do your whole back which works faster. Anyone who does not believe in chiropractors will tell you they are quacks - don't listen.
I don't necessarily believe that chiropractors can cure things like diabetes but they can definitely relieve some types of back pain especially if a pinched nerve is involved which is usually the cause of sciatica.

Women/girls bear their midrifts because they are following the trend. If the trend was to bear their hairy armpits and that was understood as sexy they would refrain from shaving their pits and walk around in tanktops lifting their arms.
Society/fashion their friends etc tell them this is the thing to do so they do it just like lemmings running off a cliff. If they had wise mothers like mine and they heard- " I don't care if everyone does it. If everyone jumped off a cliff would you?" They would think twice.
Do they know that it is hard..... yes they know that it makes men hard and that is another reason. Do they know that it makes it hard for another person to take them as seriously ? No , they do not know this , they just figure other women who don't follow the trend of exposing themselves are just jealous. They would be wrong.
I take it you do not follow the crowd and expose your tummy with a sparkly little belly ring. Good for you, you are most likely not a belly dancer anyway right. Never follow the crowd as they are usually heading the wrong direction like a pack of lemmings.

I do so agree, and besides, there are very few that can wear this type of clothing and look attractive. Most are wobbly, white and chicken skinned builder bums, with nasty g-strings and tattoos, ugh! Talk about rough! Not to mention getting a cold in the kidneys, which is incredibly painful so I am told.

cos they're fkn stupid! My sister's like that- i think she behaves like a **** when she does- she has a tattoo and she has her naval pierced... she thinks she's hot- we're identical twins.... we're no different in appearance. She's just a fkn exhibitionist every single day of the year.
People mistake me for my foolish twin sometimes. It's highly embarassing. Can you tell i don't get along with her!?

I surmise/deduce that it is trend following most of the time. Sometimes it is they want to feel sexy. Sometimes they do it to impress other women.
Occasionally, they do it get laid (doesn't always work so well?)
Some do it to be the centre of attention (this can work quite often).

I don't know why people would choose to do it, but I have noticed that tops are getting shorter so it is harder to cover that middle ground between tops and trousers/skirts. Drives me nuts trying to overcome that!

part of the problem is the way women clothes are made, low waist lines, short tops etc, meaning when they bend over or reach for something you see a lot.
the other is that they think that is how society expects them to dress.
i used to know a girl that always tucked herself in to avoid flashing her knickers/stomach ever five minutes.
