Does it mean anyone can speak anything they like ?
If so, why does Mr A take Mr B to court if Mr B calls Mr A " s.o.b, pig, f**k**g bas**** (or any other derogatory names ..."
If freedom means saying anything you want , Mr B has done nothing wrong .

Are there some o.b. markers ? (out-of-bound markers ).

Pl don't make fun of my question because I'm not American and would seriously want to understand the culture and some laws of America.

True freedom of speech would require that anyone could say anything they like whether true or not and derogatory or not.

The US's alleged "freedom of speech" is only an illusion, it is actually speech not determined as evil by its biased, double-standard establishment. This is evidenced by what is known as the Bad Tendency Rule.

Nevertheless, Mr. B has not committed any crime or even a tort (civil violation) according to US "laws".

Freedom of speech applies to the democratic country in general but not attacking single individual by making derogatory remarks that's why there are laws to stop this type overreaction.
