America is a collection of all creeds, colors, races, nationalities, and religions. We are not one group of people here and do not all follow the same views. Some views we bring from our individual cultures and places of origin. So shouldn't all nations claim the negative and positive views of the US?

I noticed in my questions in regards to why other countries sometimes hate Americans. A lot of people stated arrogance. In looking at the answers from Americans there was a lot of people who DID post arrogant views. Jealousy, we're better, we've made better achievements, etc. Do you you as an American feel that you are being lumped together with a lot of juvenile idiotic views? Are you disappointed in other Americans?

Ever watched this show the O.C. what the hell, they make big deals out of nothing, white people these days, if they don't get waht they want they get depressed (take pills for it) and some are stupid enough to become suicidal

There are all types of links at the bottom of your screens to all different countries. I've checked and the questions posted to yahoo answers America are not posted to the sites of the other countries and vice versa unless you are on that particular site. If you don't like us or think we all hold lower intelligence. Why would you waste your time coming to the American section of this site?

Its a big fad in Milwaukee right now. I see why old people would want one (i.e. no lawn care) but I would rather have my neighbors not stuck next to me or above me...
I wish they would stop building them in my cheap neighborhood. Soon I will not be able to afford to live there...

I've seen lots of questions since I've started to use YA! about people disliking Americans. I never knew so many people harbored such ill feelings towards us. I've never hated a whole country of people before. Why all the hostility towards Americans. Is it the war thing? Is it the people? Is it our president? Is it our politics? I have been attending a church that supports spanking as a way to correct children. It has sparked a wondering in me lately. I have many issues with stealing, lying, lack of discipline... etc. I am 28, but I am wondering whether anyone thinks voluntarily subjecting myself to some authority for corporal punishment is appropriate. I just don't know what else to do. Does anyone know of a drug/alcohol program or church organization specialized in this?

Are there proportionally more afro-caribbeans in prisons in the UK than other races that are just as poor if not poorer (e.g. bangladeshis)? Are areas with a high proprtion of afro-caribbeans like brixton and lewisham the worst areas in London in terms of crime, grafitti, and quality of life? Does the afro-caribbean culture fail to promote education? Are a high proportion of afro-caribbean fathers absent relative to other races? Or are these unhelpful racial stereotypes?
