Do you know that there is pervasive xenophobia here? If you are not German or not Bavarian, don't come here. You are not welcome. Even if you are white European or American, you are not welcome here. Do you agree? Why or why not?

I studied for a semester in Ingolstadt. I stayed with an older German couple.
First, let me say that Bavaria is one of the most beautiful places on earth. The people were very giving, and friendly.
I think there is an underlying xenophobia, but it is most prevelant with older people, and it is much more the case in northern Germany.
Overall, I would have to disagree that Bavarians are xenophobic. Not any more so than any other country I have lived in. (currently, I live in Taiwan and it is WAY worse here.)
