I think its funny, although Kazakhstan is the new breeding place for wealth, it now has a company on the FTSE 100, as I had to change a system in my old job for it! Borat is labelling the country in a backward way though, which the prime minister is not happy about, a shame as he is good over here!!!

lol no it somewhat is not offensive to the rustic of kazakhstan, through fact in the action picture Borat, it portrays a completely diverse place. Kazakhstan actual has an more desirable literacy fee than the US...unhappy i understand...yet anytime they asked Kazakhstan bearing directly to the action picture, their government purely mentioned "haha, no, this action picture isn't offensive to us, through fact we are much extra civilized and inteligent than what some stupid action picture portrays us as."

I cant wait to see it ! I think Borat is highly amusing ...
and the person who said about taking the p*ss out of the Jews hes already done that himself .... goes something along the lines of ... "throw a Jew down the well" .....
Its all a bit of laff and basically its offensive in some parts to everyone ... but if we cant laff at ourselves who can we laff at ?

I think it's absolutley hilarious.
Just shows you how backward this country must be if borat is high on the agenda.
They say they believe in freedom of information for their citizens yet they shut down borat.kz. Go figure.
You remind me of my wife...........why you laugh?
She is dead.

I agree with above answer. Instead of disassociating themselves from the film they should show the world they can see the funny side. This would help with their PR exercise not hinder it.

I thinks it inoffensive and very unfunny. I don't see the point of what hes doing, its not very amusing and he should get a life and live in the real world.
