i hate tans. they make people look orange. only very few people tan to a brownish shade. i don't understand why people tan? milky white skin is so beautiful. i love the way pale girls with curly hair look. why do people tan?

I drive a subaru hatch back with a dog net and a sports rack on the top of my car. I wear cool dark sunglasses and my cousins drive jettas and passats. I'm so cool, and I also drink STARBUCKS!!!!

I have heard (but I don't believe it) that Koreans don't like blacks, and vice versa.

Now, I know prejudice isn't supposed to make sense, but this is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. Of all Asian ethnic groups to hate, why Koreans? What's so special about them? Meaning no offense to Koreans, of course. :)
And why would a Korean care about what a black guy does? If a Korean (supposedly) doesn't like an African-American, then what about Chinese and Japanese? Are they "supposed" to have some kind of vendetta against blacks as well?

So, I'm wondering, how did something like this arise? Is there some bad history between the two groups?

Some white people on here not all still bring up the topic of slavery and i don't understand why??as a young black girl i have nothing to say about slavery because thankfully i wasn't born then but it seems white people jump to that conclusion that every black person uses slavery as an excuse to not like white people or that they keep them down and i doubt it has nothing to do with that because slavery has been long gone i don't go around blaming white people for enslaving blacks because the generations of today has nothing to do with what happened in the 1800s. call me a racists if you will but it's just a question. i'm not referring to all whites but i do come arcoss some white people who bring it up like it's worse than what's really going on in the world???

Supposedly it's about loving more than one person. A former friend of mine from my single days has actually now "married" this one guy and he already has a legal wife (who the state recognizes as his wife) but she and he had a ceremony that made her his wife too. The other woman was there and everything. It is just wierd but to me this sounds like Polygamy but what happens is then my friend can then turn around and marry (whether legally or another non recognized marriage) to another guy if she wants. I lost touch with her after her "wedding" that I was supposed to be invited to (but couldn't have gone to anyway). Just curious how wide spread this lifestyle was around the country? Sounds strange way of life. She had been married before to a normal guy in a catholic wedding. I was a bridesmaid for her then. Just seems strange for her to flip into this way of life. She had always been a jealous person in past relationships. How could she feel she could just share a man? Odd.

They can't even use the correct facts. Yes there are more whites than blacks receiving public assistance, Next lets look a the concentration of each race receiving it. If we are indeed a majority of course we are going to have more why not look at X% of whites and Y% of blacks. Would that require going to school? I am sorry I am sick of hearing "thats racist" when its a fact of life.

LOL, I know this sounds strange, but lot's of people say there are no ugly babies. I guess because they haven't developed any ugly attitudes and bad habits yet. But I'm talking about physically. My daughter was 3 months premature and she looked very strange. She had not discarded the fuzzy hair that is usually discarded in the womb, she had a large head because her body hadn't developed to where it needed to be, and she had a weird discoloration because of jaundice. I know these were things she could not help, but I told my mother She was soooooo ugly. LOL, my mother looked at me so strange. Don't get me wrong. I love my daughter to death and would do anything for her. She was in the hospital for the first 7 weeks of her life I barely left the hospital only to change clothes and bath. She looks normal now. But do people sometimes look at their kids and say "Damn I have an ugly baby" or what do you say when you see an ugly kid and their parents are waiting for you to talk.

I mean, Christ, when the Mob dabbled in my town it was clean and SAFE!! Now its turning into a sh*thole and crime is on the rise. No, I am not a racist, just stating the facts. Ok, I am not doing this to sound racist..(although I'm sure it will...which if it is true I need to reevaluate myself.) Anway...do you think that differant races have different smells? Like..does an african american smell differance from an asian american and do they both smell differant from a native american or caucasion american. My friend (who is asian) says they do..but....I don't think that is PC. Your thoughts?

in my country every household has maid cause its cheap to get one they came mostly from third world countries we employ them as maids u dont have to worry to wash dishes or wash ur clothes u just sleep or watch tv if u have maids in ur home okay. so why dont u employs those immigrant from mexico as ur maid they are cheap labor okay

I have seen postings on here about American Black women. Some cast us in a bad light. Many of them rightfully so. Alot of black women are intolerable and HATE to see a black man with a white woman. I don't have a problem with it personally, I think it's the way it should be. Plus the babies are beautiful (side track).

Anyway. I get kind of sad about what I read on here. Mostly because alot of it's sad and true. I won't go into details about what I've read because I want your objective opinion. Look for my next question to find out, more specifically, why I posted this question.

When answering this, keep in mind that I'm just curious and won't take offense to your answers. I love people and social matters and so I post alot of political and social questions. I'm not a "neck-rolling, gum poppin', finger-snapping, man-bashing, loud mouth, hip-hop hoochie mama" who wants to get "some mess started". I'm a educated American woman who just wants to know for the sake of conversation.

Blacks have a very high unemployment rate today, in the slave era they didnt. They werent beat all that hard, it doesn't make good business sense. As an analogy I dont break my tools that make me money, i take care of them and nurture them so I don't have to buy new ones. Were blacks better off as slaves? If you are black and say no then quit complaining about slavery on yahoo answers and get over it. Were blacks better off as slaves?
