They can't even use the correct facts. Yes there are more whites than blacks receiving public assistance, Next lets look a the concentration of each race receiving it. If we are indeed a majority of course we are going to have more why not look at X% of whites and Y% of blacks. Would that require going to school? I am sorry I am sick of hearing "thats racist" when its a fact of life.

Tough to say. It could be separate issues. For example, it is possible to both deliver manipulative statistics AND be a racist at the same time, without the two necessarily being correlated. More importantly I suppose, is why you are being such a mathmatical missionary. Why do you feel the need to share such studies with people unlikely to be receptive? It seems that your talents might be better used in more urgent matters. For example, a gifted mathmetician such as yourself might be able to do wonders reducing the federal defecit, which would help the country immensly; or perhaps charting tragectories of earthbound objects. Why stop at sociology?

Note: Exactly where in this question did you state a fact? I see a general statement about the abilities of black people to use facts, and then some variables, followed by sarcasm, then whining. Which of those is a fact to you?

I guess it is because "facts" are never as clear as people would suppose. For example, in the case that you raise, let's assume for this discussion that you are right about the numbers. The next question that a perceptive person would ask is "Why?".

For example, years ago I had a discussion about this with one of my white friends where he expressed some similar feelings as you. Later in the discussion he mentioned that whenever he has had financial problems in life he contacted his rich grandma and got the money he needed. At that point I mentioned to him that because of slavery, followed by sever discrimination there are few colored folks that have a "rich grandma" to call upon when financial problems occur.

In sum, although things are much better today then in the past in terms of race the past still effects things today in terms of financial resources, access to education, etc. So here is one black person that will recognize the numbers that you mention but I would be willing to bet our house that you and I would probably disagree on the cause.

Take care...

It's not just blacks that don't like facts. It's anyone who has been brought up in our current consumer society. The fact is, civilization (societies with cities) are unsustatainable, and whenever we look at the real facts of how we are competing for new ways to destroy our world, we find we are also destroying our personal relations with our own species, and the natural land which we need to survive.
The argumentative part of it comes from a world full of people who don't know what to do to change it, and they all feel trapped. Like the people who thought they were voting against big government and ended up with a bigger one full of bullies and warmongers that lie in order to get rich and make their friends rich. It's bad enough to be white and realize you screwed up, how do you think the blacks feel when their votes weren't even counted? Or the Hispanics who were busting their *** at a slaughterhouse until 5pm and the polls (an hour and a half away) closed at 6pm?
Whether it's welfare, government, corporations, or the destructive culture; If you want change, keep it in your pocket. Your DOLLAR is your vote, and the machines don't count.

Dude when you present facts to most human-beings they deny it. I can pull all sorts of statistics out of my @ss but I've got some good examples for you: When I tell my white friends that they will probably be the minority in America pretty soon, they just look at me and laugh and say, "Yeah, right!" I'm also a nurse, and when I have to tell a patient that his/her blood test came back positive the first thing they say is, "This must be some kind of mistake! I want a second opinion!" So denial doesn't apply only to black people, last time I checked, it was a shared human emotion.

Half the people on here are so ignorant. Including you I might add.
Black people ARE no longer slaves and they ARE allowed to vote, and they CAN use the same fountains and bathrooms. But a lot of those things barely changed in the 60's. That is NOT a long time ago.
Black people do see a lot of descrimination around them.
I am not saying it is the white man holding "blacky" down. What I am saying is racism still exists.
As for recieving asistance and criminal records...try looking at the poverty levels. When someone is poor... they will steal. When someone is poor... they will recieve government help. Its racist to make it a racial issue at all. You shouldnt look at it like "Look at all dem blacks on govment monies." Try...."Look at all these fellow Americans and human beings who need help. How can I help them?"
Racist F'er.

First off, proof-read before you post.....
........

And secondly.... what is your point?? So what if they're more whites than blacks. People call you a racist because you say there's a larger population of whites than blacks?? People wouldn't call u a racist for that cause that doesn't make sense!!!

I still believe it's probably the way you brought up your argument that made u appear as if you were a racist.

And also.... don't whine on yahoo answers please.

Its one of the catchwords used to demonize politically incorrect statements and people. If you say something negative about a social outgroup - regardless of the truth and verifiability of the statement - you are a "hater" or a "racist" or whatever. There is a cultural Marxist establishment in the US that has been entrenched since the '60s and generally speaking the only groups you can say negative things about are WASPs, heterosexuals, and rich people. Everything must appear equal, even if its a lie, and anyone who states otherwise is branded and marginalized as the incarnate of evil. Niceness as defined by cultural elites is of more value than honesty and truth. Even more glaring than welfare statistics is violent crime statistics. I was recently IP banned from a Canadian chat network for mentioning this.
