I have heard (but I don't believe it) that Koreans don't like blacks, and vice versa.
Now, I know prejudice isn't supposed to make sense, but this is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. Of all Asian ethnic groups to hate, why Koreans? What's so special about them? Meaning no offense to Koreans, of course. :)
And why would a Korean care about what a black guy does? If a Korean (supposedly) doesn't like an African-American, then what about Chinese and Japanese? Are they "supposed" to have some kind of vendetta against blacks as well?
So, I'm wondering, how did something like this arise? Is there some bad history between the two groups?

Example: On the hit TV series "Lost," after Jin attacked Michael, he angrily said, "Koreans don't like blacks!" when others tried to calm him down. (He later admitted that it wasn't true and that he only said it because he was angry.)
I'm not surprised that many of the answerers have never heard of this; I've heard of it only like 3 times. I'm just curious as to how it started.

*edit* Michael said "Koreans don't like blacks," not Jin. Just avoiding confusion here.
