i used to think its bcuz they are gays deep down inside who are afraid to admit it but it seems real irrational hatred and they truly hate gay men with all their might,
there are some nice straight men who are friendly to gays but most just gross out and try to attack a gay guy who hits on them and you can see the hatred is real.
what's the psychological reason for that?

I have been, and I politely decline.

If this happens to you, how do you handle it?

Alternatively, for bisexuals, can you imagine just liking one?

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. It's even happened to me after one nighters. I think I'm giving off the wrong vibe. But I can't pinpoint what it is. I'm not that type of person. It takes me a lot more to really fall in love with a woman, and it's not sex. I'm dominant in and out the bed and treat women nicely. Like I'm the kind of person who takes charge and enjoys giving a romantic massages afterwards or cooks a mean meal for her. I'm starting to feel maybe that's the wrong combination. My intent is just to be nice, I don't want to start a life with her. But for some reason she always wants to get the U-Haul first thing in the morning.

Im gay but no one really suspects anything. I don't act like the stereotypical gay and I'm more like most straight guys. The only difference is I'm gay. I'm in high school and I can say for sure that coming out has more negatives than positives. I live in rural Virginia too which doesn't help either. Since no one thinks I'm gay, isn't easier just to stay in the closet?

Ive been with my man Darren for a calendar year now. We met at the highschool we both go to in junior year (we are now seniors). He was cute, charming, and masculine. Which is what I like since Im a feminine "prettyboy" whose attracted only to macho guys. Everything rolled from then. Darren is pretty my world and our relationship is to the point where we are committed fully to eachother. Both of us are "out", hes been out since grade school and I came out this year in like March thanks when he convinced me. Infact he was there when I told my mom I was gay since my mom already knew Darren but thought we were just friends since we were always together. We're close to eachother's moms and they accept our relationship. But the REST of my family, who know Im gay and know about Darren, havent met him. They will tomorrow when they come over for New Years. What if they disrespect him or say something I dont like? Thats family, but thats also my baby. Would I be disloyal for taking his side?

I believe that all people are born worthy of respect. I think all Americans deserve equal rights. I think same sex couples should be able to marry under the law and church if they have a friendly one. How do I support the rights of my gay brothers and sisters? Who has good national legislation for gay right? What companies discriminate? Or any other ways to show support except for parades. I love ya but I wear heals and I ain't walking.

I posted this in the LGBT section hoping that some gay men can give me advice too, since they are usually more honest about these things (due to no fear of embarssment from women).

I am doing an internship this spring, and I have heard some people talking about the possibility of money specifically for GLBT students to do things like this. Not really sure if this is true or not. Does anyone know?

I have seen this more and more, where if a guy slashes the idea of wearing a Kilt, than just saying they wouldn't wear one. It seems to be a litmus test for those who are not secure in their sexuality, because here in America, everything should be tolerated, so long as it doesn't hurt another person or creature.

I take it as fighting being gay. Popular estimates are that nearly 10 percent of the population is gay in America. I believe there is at least that many more that are so fighting their gay intentions, that they fight anything that could be construed as gay.

Ironically, the Kilt, adapted to American ways, causes ire with many boys, teens and men. They somehow see it as being gay like, whereas in actuality, virtually no gay guys wear them. It usually takes a very strong and confident guy to wear a Kilt in this day in age outside the Scottish circles.

With so many subversives around, many assume yet another. Actually, the scary ones are really the ones still in the closet.

There is a really nice guy I really like, have known him for several years through his work, but he has just got back to work after being really poorly. i sent him a few get well cards to support him during his time off via his work (works for a bank so I know they can't give me personal details). we talked about going for a coffee prior to his illness, but I'm sure when is stronger we will still go, but getting better surely must be a priority. One of my mates thinks he might be gay even though she has never met him., she thinks he would have been in touch already but I am prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt as he has had enough to contend with being so ill. Idon't get the feeling he is, so why should she?? please help

But they watch lesbian porn.
& they get turned on by two girls.
Isn't that being hypocritical?
I don't get it...

I know straight men are attracted to girls.
But if you're going to support lesbians then why not support gay males to?

I want to hear answers from straight men to.
It seems like there are a lot of them in the LGBT section.
