i recently had a crazy threesome with a girl i knew for a long time and a guy she knew for a long time. it's definitely a friend with benefits relationship. i was wandering whether you have had a relationship like this, and if so how long did it last? if not do think it can last?

p.s it's already happened twice and were good friends

i agree with Pirate AM... any relationship can work if people want it to. it could work as long as none of you are possessive. if one of you gets even SLIGHTLY possessive or decides they want somebody to themself, then you'll encounter problems. or if one of you decides to randomly hook up with somebody, you'll encounter problems, too. have you seen Normal Adolescent Behavior: Havoc 2? if not, watch it.

I once had a 3-way (one of many) which unlike any other ended up into a 3-way relationship. Talk about intense, but the sex was great! However, in the long run there is always 1 who is left to the way-side. When I met that couple they were in a relationship, a troubled relationship but none the less a relationship. When I came along, it was fun and it made everyone forget their problems and after 3 months reality set in. The reality was that one of the guys (Mike) and myself had fallen in love. The 3 way relationship ended but not without its complications and fire storms. Mike and I are still together after 7 years and going strong, although I can assuredly say without a doubt that I honestly wish he and I had met under different circumstances. But, it is what it is and you have to be very careful. If you plan on getting in a 3-way, leave emotion out of it and just enjoy the experience.

Any sort of relationship can last, just the more people involved the more complex it becomes. Try to make sure that you remain good friends and good luck.
