I like being feminine and pretty but my parents don't know about that. my dads says if your a guy and you are not mainly you should kill your self. my mom has a similar sentiment. this wouldn't be a problem. I could just hide my feminine stuff but my mom is the person n charge of my ssi check and she monitors all that I spend. which puts me in an awkward position. I won't feminine stuff like make up and stuff like that but my moms watching my money like a hawk.

what do I do. thanks to some court order my moms responsible for my money and I have no say in it. help!!!

p.s. I'm a guy.

p.s.s. my spell checker has failed me. oh well.

I remember it specifically. I was 14. I was watching the 6 o'clock news and there was an article about two gay men adopting a young baby girl. I remember thinking "Oh my goodness! This is on the BBC so it must be true!" My feelings were a mix of shock that I wasn't the only one, elation that it appeared to be be ok to be gay, and relief that my chances of growing old alone had just been cut.

people in my school thought two people were lesbians, they said they weren't but then i got a text from one of them which was for the other one and it was a bit weird i showed it to some people but it spread, so now they are pissed off with me although people already thought it. I had nothing against them until now as they are 'going to get revenge on me'.

Was i wrong for showing a few people, should i just ignore them now im going to college?

I was watching According to Jim yesterday w/ my Grandma (I do it for her lol... I hate that show), and it was an episode about 2 gay guys and Jim. At the end of the epidsode, Jim says "I hope they feel... Whatever gay men feel for eachother." Or something along those lines.

The episode didn't offend me (I don't really get offended). It got me thinking, though; do most straight people realize that gay people actually love eachother when they're in a relationship, or do they just think its about sex?
I'm gay, so I never have really thought about love from a heterosexual point of view, or what they think of homosexuals' emotional love.

If n*a*k*e*d* women don't turn me on and I don't have any intentions of sleeping with a girl I really like, am I bisexual? I generally don't like girls. I don't check girls out. I prefer guys. There is just this one girl that I really like but wouldn't do anything more than just passionately kiss her. What's going on with me? Please, no rude answers. Thanks

Mine is that if a person drops a glass object and it doesn't break, the person is supposedly a Virgin.

V-Squad members represent!

I know this doesn't exaclty have any relevance in the LGBT section but... I couldn't resist ;)
Anyways what's your favorite?

Gays being given the right to marry, which would legally indicate the federal government supports all its citizens?

The APA revelation that homosexuality is not a disease but is a natural condition? (Already occurred but news travels slowly.)

The fact that animals in the wild (over 1,500 species so far discovered) exhibit "gay" behavior (have sex with their own gender!) (This phenomenon arguing in favor that homosexuality is a "natural state" as opposed to a "chosen state of evil or deviance"?)

Violence against gays, "gay motivated hate crimes"?

The fact that Jesus never spoke a single word in his life against homosexuality, nor did God in his direct communication (for those who believe in Old Testament) with the Ten Commandments?

Something not listed here? Please share what you feel would help to sway those filled with hate to a more loving and accepting posture.

Thank you in advance for your answers.

how increasingly racist the "General-Cultures & Groups" section has become? It seems wrong to suggest a separate Q & A area for African Americans, Native Americans, Asian Americans and so forth but it seems to be the only solution I can think of. Any ideas?

my gf and I are having a disagreement about it

she thinks, its just a piece of paper and doesn't know if she wants to have a wedding or anything at all.

i think, your saying you love this person forever and hope to be with her/ him forever, in front of family, friends, a preacher and god

what do you think??? be honest!!

I ask because I want to know based on how he is and how he reacts to me if he's interested in me or not. I can never tell who's gay or not. I am really bad at it. If this offends people, I will stop asking. But, I like the advice I get and it helps me form a conclusion as to how to respond, or not respond to this person.

I see these questions ALL the time....really when it comes down to it....what business is it of yours? And who really cares?

I know that people think that if there are more of us that are visable, the better it can make the cause of acceptance. But it can also damage what those persons have worked their lives for.

And furthermore, do str8 people actually think that we ''gays'' know each other? That is a twist on an old racist stereotype.....

Tell me what you think?

"No one in their right mind would be openly anti-gay these days. It's a sad fact of life due to the EDCs in our water."

I have always been told that 2 wrongs do not make a right but according to an article I recently read online in the Baptist Press if it isn't right it is at least better.

In a story discussing an "ex-gay" they say:

"Although Glatze's new religion of Mormonism denies essential elements of Christianity, his story of leaving homosexuality is nonetheless significant."

http://www.sbcbaptistpress.org/BPnews.asp?ID=26210

If his conversion to Mormonism denies essential elements of Christianity, in their eyes he must still be going to hell. I do not see why they are so happy about this.

Can anyone clear this up for me? Am I missing something? Or do they just have an anti-gay agenda where anything bad for gays is good for Christianity?
