I can understand violence and non consentual sex upsetting people....but sex is a normal, fun, everyday thing (if even only in thought)....when did it become 'dirty and disgusting'?

My sex CAN get pretty dirty and disgusting and that's even without the wife LOL...

As usual Ben (the stud) you are right on target. I have better things to do with my time than wonder what people are doing in their beds, but my bed seems to be the source of everybodys conversation.

That is an interesting questions. Sex is consensual when all parties involved consent to having sex, right? What if they never consented? What if it was a compulsion for both sides. Technically it's not a consensual sex, it is forced by a sexual addiction. Sexual addiction is upsetting even more so when people don't know anything about it but they feel it and distinguish it. I hope there will be a time when it will be talked about. So, sex is not upsetting to people, the mindless addiction is. It became 'dirty and disgusting' when we stop having it because we choose to but because we are compelled by a sexual addiction. The real word is scary, not dirty and disgusting. All addictions are scary, they can make a person ruin his/her life and the life of the people around them.

To be honest Wickey me and my boyfriend were just talking the other day about what goes on between you and your wife in bed. LOL!
Good question. I have always been consensual in the sex I have had in my lifetime, and it's only afterwards that I have sometimes regretted what has happened. But what goes on in my bed is my business. I don't go out to a busy park in the middle of the day and have sex. My sex can sometimes be dirty and disgusting, but out of choice and not because some book written over 2000 years ago says it is. I don't know about America, but in England, there are always cases in the media of priests "interfering" with the young altar boys/girls, and to me that really is dirty and disgusting.

Depends on where it is done. Most people do NOT care if it is done in private meaning in the home or at some special club but when it spreads out onto the streets in clear view of the general public most of us have a problem with it and that means straight, bi, gay or solo sex acts or sexually explicit actions. There is a time and a place for everything. Oh except mululations and amputations even if consensual because that is just sick and yes it happens.

I tend to agree with you but there are two issues to consider:

1. It is not just consentual people but should be consenting adults. Children do not understand sex or relationships or the consequences.

2. Sex that can lead to accidental pregnancy can involve another person. Whatever your feelings on birthcontrol and abortion are you have to consider that you could be hurting other people.

I have to agree with you, but at the same time you have to think. They may be both consensual but one maybe hiding a dirty little secret. I guess its that persons fault. I think it is dirty and disgusting when you don't know the person what so ever and you just hop into bed. But if they do it then that is fine.
Guess i am on the fence, but i agree with what you say.

as far as gay sex goes people are scared of things they dont understand and the reason why some might find it dirty and disgusting but if they knew the truth they would be doing it themselves becouse of the enjoyment and pleaser of it..I dont judge straight people for having sex as i know its great fun and a way to show one another they love each other or atleast lust after one another but yet as a gay man they find it nasty becouse of the anal aspect of sex between two men which they know nothing about but then two women having sex with one another is fine go figure....

I have to agree with you there. what two consenting adults do in private should be no ones business! not your family, your neighbors, your church or the government's! I think too many people, because of ignorance of things "different" have grown up being taught and believing that "different" is always bad or sinful. or maybe some of those people are just needing a little lovin' themselves! really, people....as long as you are with a consenting, unrelated adult and you are being safe....it's not anyone elses business!

When religion poked its ugly nose into our business, sex became "dirty and disgusting" according to the religious.

You're right. I had a sister in law who was taught by her parents that she would literally burn in hell if she had pre marital sex or sex for any other reason than to concieve a child. Her parents were "Catholics". It's no wonder why she was always such a nasty bi@tch
