No. There are no other animal species that have individuals which solely engage in homosexual acts.
There have been instances where individual homosexual acts have been observed, but whenever there are females around, the males go after them and forget about each other.

Yes, it has been observed in more than 400 different species of, mainly, mammals and birds. This is not simple dominance behaviour but complete with pair-bonding rituals, courtship etc. often the pairing is for life. It has also been found that homosexual couples are more successful at raising young than heterosexual couples. Two males offer greater protection while two females offer greater mothering.
The story about only dolphins, humans and chimpnzees having sex for pleasure is a myth. All animals have sex for pleasure, if they didn't like it, they wouldn't do it. Many males of many species have been observed masturbating as well. Why would they do that if it were not pleasurable?

Homosexuality and even possible transsexual behaviors are pretty well documented in many animals. I've only observed it among mammals myself, mainly dogs and rodents, but it could possibly exist on a much broader scale than that.

"homosexual" the way culture and society assess the word as a social identity, or as engaging in same sex sexuality?
Many animals engage in same sex sexuality. There is an entire museum about it. look up "homosexual animal museum" or even "gay penguins" and different websites will come up.

I used to have a very Gay black Cat. I had him fixed and he didn't give a cats Meow. His name was BartholaMew. Nick name Black Bart. He loved kittens and tried to teach them his ways. Really didn't work very well. Some times he would find a male cat that wouldn't try to kill him. After all some were as gay as he was.
We loved Black Bart He was who he was and he was missed when he passed on to meet the Goddess Bast

it seems that way sometimes. I heard a theory that same sex animal attraction was meant to control the population sizes of certain animals. Or is just a release for when there is no female.
