You look around and figure out the gender of the people you're sexually attracted to... (seems simple enough, no?)

I wish there was an 'easy answer' I could give you, but there isn't one ... some people just 'seem to know' their sexuality from infancy ... others 'find out' when they are in puberty ... and many don't 'really have a clue' until they are well over 30.
Each of us is a 'unique' individual, and each of us is on 'a slightly different path' than any other ...
LOOK INSIDE YOURSELF. Think about all of the 'attractions' you have toward other people, and also the things that you are 'turned off by' ... then think about WHO you ARE ... and how you 'deal with other parts of life.' THEN mayb you will 'know' whether you are straight, gay, or bisexual. If you don't, don't 'push it' ... it's just not your 'time for personal discovery' ... relax, sit back, participate in the world around you as much as you are 'comfortable' and you will 'find out' someday ...

I disagree with many of these people--
first off, the categories are not that straightforward. many people are bisexual. and many bisexuals simply choose not to act on same gender attractions, because its too hard to face up to the implications of that, especially if you live somehwere conservative or heteronormative. the path of least resistance is often playing straight.
second, we are conditioned to believe that we are straight. if you grew up thinking this, then chances are you might have skipped over times that you were attracted to the same sex, or crushed on your best friend, or whatever.
if you are confused, there is probably something causing the confusion. there's nothing wrong with experimenting to see how being with boys and girls makes you feel. if you are gay, the difference will be apparent as soon as you get physical with someone of the same sex.
good luck to ya.

Which sex do you find yourself turning to look at regularly. But I'm not sure it's that simple. I am TG (I think), but I women consistently catch my eye. Yet I have fantasies about guy parts and t-girls.
If you're concerned about it a good counselor may help you figure it out. A good one won't try to push you one way or another.

Which sex are you more attracted to? If it's men, your gay, if it's women, your straight! Either way is fine, just be safe and enjoy!

You have to figure out who YOU think is hot. Are you attracted to females, males or both? Do you dream of the guy who lives down the street or his sister?

Practically there is no difference in straight or gay, its only their divergence to wards same sex, there is no other difference.

You should know if you are or aren't and by the way do you know how completely outdated that term "one" is? if not you should that is only for old "money" types or something, because nobody talks like that anymore.
