Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender - March 2007

Ok, this is my first choice (the Hindu snake charmer was the first). This person belongs to a sect of Holy Men in India, the Nagababas. He would be about 5 foot 8 inches. 230 to 330 pounds. His hair is very long and matted. He coils it on top of his head in a large mound. He is a devotee of the Hindu God Shiva. He wears Rudraksha beads (a rosary used by Shiva devotees). Strands of these in his mound of hair, around his neck, and on his wrists and forearms. He wears garlands of orange marrigolds, all over his body. One other item that covers his body; it is Holy ash; either grey or white. He also carries the trident of Lord Shiva. He would wear a cobra around his neck and shoulders, like Lord Shiva. He'd also wear cobras in his mound of matted hair,on his forearms and wrists, and around his waist. And that is the idea of my most beautiful man. Either way, why? And for those of you with a religious standpoint. if god is all powerful and creates everything in this world, then he must of created gays, and for a reason. personally, i dont care what people do its their buisness, and i dont believe in god.

My friend and had a really thought-provoking conversation the other day. We're both straight, but then we were thinking what exactly is "straight?"

We were thinking that maybe being straight is suppressing any romantic feelings you have for anyone of the same gender in order to adhere to societal norms....and then we were thinking what makes a man be romantically attracted to another man? I mean, I have male friends, and I like them for the same reasons gay men like their boyfriends..their nice, funny, friendly...stuff like that...but what makes straight men not want a sexual relationship with their male friends?? Is it society???

And does this mean everyone is actually bisexual???

Here's my point... I am in love with someone, who loves me, but isn't in love with me. They are in love with someone else, who loves them but isn't in love with them, who is in love with someone else... and it continues on. Is it possible to find someone who loves you and who you love, or is it just a huge endless chain of people who are loved by someone that they are not in love with and are in love with someone who is in love with someone else. Help!!

Ok since this is a "gay" matter I'd like your opinion. My mate Shay was kicked out of his house by his mum and dad last week because he was in a fight with them. He never told me what the fight was over but he told me the other day it was to due with the fact he came out as being gay. We all knew he was gay for about a year and it didn't bother us because lets face it it isn't as if he had changed or anything you know. But his mum and dad are "over the top" with their christian beliefs and they said they where "ashamed". I think that's pathetic. This is their son and they treat him like s h it? He was staying with us for a few days now he's in his uncles. Why do parents be like this? It's pathetic in my view. You can't change who you are right?

I don't know if "A boy" (the confused, sexually abused foster care teenager who is saying his goodbyes in the adolescent section this morning) is on the level, but he isn't the first user to talk about taking his own life, and it seems like if Yahool can scan for vulgarities and abusive language, it can scan for suicide references and react accordingly, or at least provide a panic button we can click on, besides the "abuse" button, to get their attention and maybe track the user down by his URL or something.

If "A boy" is real and something bad happens to him, it will be matter of technology failing us and not living up to its potential.

Any thoughts?

Why is it that nowdays, everyone have to walk on eggshells and watch what they say? Call me crazy, but doesn't the 1st Amendment guarantee freedom of speech? People like Michael Richardson and Isaiah Washington get hung up like social pariahs when all they're actually doing is voicing their opinions. And they have a right to do that. But when Paris Hilton spews racial comments no one cares. I just don't think a comment such as "******" can be termed wrong when it's the truth. And I especially don't think the way someone feels can be treated in rehab. If someone feels a certain way about something, they have a right to it. I am by no means homophobic or racist, but am just wondering why the gay community expects everyone to accept their social status and their opinions while they have no respect for the people who don't agree with them. I mean, if a gay person has the right to voice his or her opinion without going to rehab or anything, why don't i have the same right?

I luv my boyfriend very much and v plan to marry in near future..But lately things r going crazy.Some days back he told me tht he is sometimes attracted to guys.We had never been physical for a long time in our relationship but i respected him to be the gentleman he is.He although appreciates my body a lot esp my boobs and keeps complementing me.When we got around being physical he was aroused but not for a long time.Im not very knowledgeable abt all this.May be he is not gay but i dont know what to think..........I know ill accept him even if he is gay.. I'd like to know some reasons people against gay adoption are. All the emperical evidence clearly shows that children raised in gay families:

Are not molested or abused nearly as much as kids in straight families.

Pedophiles are overwhelmingly straight males.

Children in gay homes are no more likely to grow up gay than children in straight homes.

Most people who turn out to be gay were raised by straight parents.

These are all things that have been PROVEN, so will people please tell me why you still oppose gay adoption? I do NOT want to hear from gays and allies telling me it is because they are stupid (I know that). I am well versed in the way bigotry operates, I did study it for a few years.

I ask that no one report ANY answers even if they are cruel and filled with bad words, I want to see everything.

I want to explain something about this. I am gay and incapable of giving birth, even surrogate. How do you think you can decide this for me?

Is everyone on here "OUT". Only a few people at my job know that I am currently dating a woman. Recently a very aggressive woman used her "gaydar" and keeps making comments about us going out on a date and I keep saying go away cause I am not interested.
