I'd like to know some reasons people against gay adoption are. All the emperical evidence clearly shows that children raised in gay families:

Are not molested or abused nearly as much as kids in straight families.

Pedophiles are overwhelmingly straight males.

Children in gay homes are no more likely to grow up gay than children in straight homes.

Most people who turn out to be gay were raised by straight parents.

These are all things that have been PROVEN, so will people please tell me why you still oppose gay adoption? I do NOT want to hear from gays and allies telling me it is because they are stupid (I know that). I am well versed in the way bigotry operates, I did study it for a few years.

I ask that no one report ANY answers even if they are cruel and filled with bad words, I want to see everything.

I want to explain something about this. I am gay and incapable of giving birth, even surrogate. How do you think you can decide this for me?

Just as I thought. When faced with logic, anti-gays don't even bother!

I notice you've had no answers yet, so-
There are a lot of straight people who shouldn't have kids. However, once they have them, the only way they lose them is if the parents are SO bad that Child Protection Agencies have to step in.

I won't go claiming gays are inherently better- I know at least one that I wouldn't trust with a goldfish, let alone a baby. HOWEVER- gays are much less likely to get pregnant by "accident" (not impossible- think of bi women).
Children of gay couples are actively wanted, and planned for- whether by IVF, sperm donors, or adoption. And that is the biggest difference.

There's no good way to answer this question. I personally don't belive that homosexuality is right. However, that being said I wouldn't tell a gay couple they couldn't adopt. There are so many children that need homes and if a couple can help that's great.

As for the statistics. I took a class in both high school and college and the first thing you learn is that you can take any stat and make it say what you want. Not that those may not be true. But I take stats with a grain of salt.
