Is everyone on here "OUT". Only a few people at my job know that I am currently dating a woman. Recently a very aggressive woman used her "gaydar" and keeps making comments about us going out on a date and I keep saying go away cause I am not interested. All this attention has peoples ears all proped up. I ususally make a point to say "YES" i am "Bi" if asked straight out.

Yes im out to friends and family. I dont discuss my personal life at work. And the few times i've been asked specific questions about my lovelife, i do make it known that im a lesbian. You need to tell your coworker to mind her own business and to stop coming on to you. If she doesnt stop, report her to your supervisor.

Out to friends... It's so obvious to family, but I'm sure the statement, "Mom.. Dad.. I'm gay" would give them a heart attack... So they tiptoe around the topic and are in constant state of denial...

Lol, maybe your aggressive woman is just giving compliments... And yeah, we're living in an age where a lot of people are very interested with our so-called "gay lifestyle"... until they get a close gay friend and realize that it's not as cryptic and surreal as they concocted it to be... lol.

Yes I am. I am way out there!!!! My family and friends all know and even most of the people I work with, to include my boss. Everyone backs me up when needed. I have been lucky.

I'm out to some. I'm not out to everyone that I'm Bi. I'm on the board of directors for our company's local GLBT group, so I'm out further than I have been in a while, but there are still folks I'm not out to. I'm out to less people that I'm polyamorous. People are a lot less accepting of that.

Sounds like the woman is verging on sexual harrassment. You might put it that way to her. If she persists, then report her.

I am gay and out 100 % Although I have not faced the troubles that you have, I work with all women. I would definitly take this issue up with your supervisor and HR if the issue is not resolved.

I'm out in my life. To my family, friends, and to my job.

Agressive seekers are difficult. I handle mine by saying - thank you, but i'm currently seeing someone whom I care for very deeply. Having to say anything further this constitutes 'harassment' and legal action can be taken.

Don't feel bullied into anything you are uncomfortable.

Good luck

I don't think coming out is too smart, especially to co-workers. You don't know what people's intention is, they might use it as a weapon against you. Some people are paranoid, that's another headache.

You come out only to those you trust, ultimately you are the one will get hurt.

Most people who know me, know that I'm gay. I'm not out at all at work. I have never been asked point blank if I'm gay, If asked, I will tell the truth.

I agree with the first answer 100%. Call HR if you've already told her to piss off. Good luck.
