Ok, so my little cousin (she's 20) just came out to me and told me shes full lesbian. I don't care, I still love her but my concern is she is confused. Less than a yr ago she was engaged to a man. While she was growing up her mom kept her on locked down and only got freedom when she went away to college. Then she met her first bf, the one she was engaged too and now she's engaged to a girl. I asked her how this came about, was it something she always felt..she saids that this girl was so beautifull that she had to bag her and that she brought it out of her. I really don't care who she loves as long as shes happy, my concern is that she will get hurt in the process of finding who she is. Im scared for her, my family isn't the most open minded, and I don' think she should label herself just yet. How can I voice my concerns without making her feel like I don't approve or make her feel defensive?

Yall might think I'm an absolute terrible person for asking this, but I have specifics on my security level, and security to me is money and lots of it. I have a Christmas political function to attend next month and my current b/f has told me there will be many young single guys there with money. And it's become a goal of mine to hook up w/ one of them possibly. The problem is, they're Republicans. I'm not. I have no idea how to act around Republicans and my b/f has said I'll have to do more than stand around and look pretty to get it, but how?? He won't give me any advice! Please don't think anyhting bad about me, Women do this everyday. And I would really like others opinions.Thanx!

For the first time in my country there is a lesbien bar that just opened. No man is allowed to enter and women go there to pick up other women. However, I don't want to be picked up. I just want to go in and see what it's like in there. I'm curious but I don't want to seem like I'm just checking out some club or other. Also, I don't want to seem mean or anything by rejecting all advances made to me.
Is it better to walk in alone or with another girlfriend...?

lesbians as "lesbos". Is that an offensive term? I'm a gay man and it almost sounds offensive to me. Am I wrong?

The self-righteous Christians disqust me in their condemnation of same-sex marriage. Therefore, I want to ask you to read Proverbs 6.16: "There are six things the Lord hates, Seven are DETESTABLE TO HIM: HAUGHTY EYES - A LYING TONGUE - HANDS THAT SHED INNOCENT BLOOD - A HEART THAT DEVISES WICKED SCHEMES - FEET THAT ARE QUICK TO RUSH INTO EVIL - FALSE WITNESS WHO POURS OUT LIES - AND A MAN WHO STIRS UP DISSENSION AMONG BROTHERS. The following verses and chapter deal with ADULTRY. (take a look at yourself)

I don't have a dog in this fight and I am a Christian but I'm sick of those of you who act like such perfect people and automatically condemn homosexuality while at the same time you are committing sins detestable to God every day. I don't see anything about homosexuality there.

Look within yourself and let God do the judging. The audacity to think you know the mind of God!

To be more specific, do gay themed books sell just as well as your typical "straight" novel? Is there currently a demand for gay/lesbian writers out there? I ask because I have a friend who wants to become a writer and he's gay, but I feel he would have more success (selling more books) if his fiction works were written for the general public, a book anyone can pick up and read and recommend to a friend. Not a book that is specifically gay themed. Am I wrong or right or have some good points on the subject?

Some background info:

He is a 22 year old bisexual guy who has only ever dated girls. We've been casual friends for about three years, and this summer we hung out quite a bit. Over the past few weeks we spent more and more time together, almost getting to that 'well should we date' point, but suddenly he stopped all participation. I do not want to bother him if he is not interested, but I don't want to let this go if there's still a possibility of a relationship.

Any advice is welcomed.

I work with two lesbians they are a couple. I have seen them play around at work as you would see any couple do. I was just wondering do lesbians check each other out like guys check out girls. Do boobs really matter since they both have them? What is it that lesbians like in the other girl? Second in a lesbian relationship how would one of the women feel if a guy started hitting on her girl? Is their jealousy, is it the same thing if a guy was hitting on another guys girlfriend. I know I almost hit on this girl when she first started until I found out she was a lesbian

I been hiding in the closet for years knowing that my friends cannot accept any of their friends being gay.I lived in a country whereby people hates homosexual the most.My friends, they said, having a friends that is a gay is the second last thing that they want to have after death.I cant imagine how they would treat me if i tell them that im a gay.People never know that im a gay coz im have masculine look more than the feminine.Im not sissy.Im just a real men.I always fantasized about being cuddle by a big bear. And i still continue fantazing bout it.I just dont know how long i can stay being the person that is not me.My true me is trapped inside the closet, locked by the bad impressions of the community bout homosexuality.
Right now, im doing my degree so that i can work overseas.I dont want to stay in my country.People didnt accept it if im a gay.So as my parents.I think they will be shock if the know that their beloved son is a gay.
Help me!
Im so depressed right now!

I'm preparing to do a speech for my public speaking class on gay marriage and it would help me a lot if I got your opinion on it. Personally, I'm all for it but whether if you support or oppose this social issue, please give me a lot of detail or some reasons why you're for it or against it. Thanks and I hope to get a lot of answers!!!!!

I've heard of people who are more comfortable with men being gay but not women and vice versa. And usually it's straight men can't handle gays but are okay with lesbians, and on the other side of the coin girls can be okay with gay men but not lesbians. But I did know one girl who was straight (I assume) who didn't have a problem with lesbians but gay men. It literately made her sick to her stomach.
