They are real. They don't fit into the straight world or the gay world. The only people who deny they exists are certain gay or straight people who don't want to admit there is another sexual orientation other than homosexuality or heterosexuality.

I am bisexual. I don't do it because I want attention (because nobody actually knows,) and I don't do it to be different (because I just want to be treated normal,) and I don't do it because I'm confused (because my feelings for both the males and the females I've had relationships with are real.) Yes, there are alot of people out there who claim to be bisexual for attention (namely women who claim to be bi in order to get attention from men,) but not every bisexual person claims to be so for attention or to be different. Pretty much, if a person is really great and they interest me I will consider starting a relationship, regardless of sex/gender.

I don't think bisexual men do it for the attention. The only attention would be negative - because of the same gender attraction, not because of the attraction to women. In fact, I think the vast majority of bisexual men are closeted regarding their attraction to men. But not, of course, to their attraction to women.

I do think that some younger girls will kiss other girls and say they're bisexual, even if they're not. Bisexual girls now have near celebrity like status. OK, that's an exaggeration, but a lot of heterosexual men seem to get off on it, and it's the in thing to do. Of course, that's only if the girls aren't overly masculine or butch looking.

I've known I was bisexual since I was a child and had my first bisexual experience at the age of 12 with my best friend Harriet. I'm 53, and just a small blip in the human experience. My attention getting days are pretty well over, so I'm thinking that it must just be how my body reacts to both men and women.

WTF. OK ummm yes we are real! As far as getting attention goes, for me no I don't want attention. As a matter of fact in the real world and offline I'm actually very closeted, I don't want the attention. It's hard enough just being me, let alone having people bash on me out here. And why would someone choose to be bi just to be different. It doesn't matter who u are or what u do or believe in. Everyone is always going to be different!

Some gay and straight people will feign bisexuality out of confusion or for attention but hey aren't real bisexuals. Speaking as someone who is legitimately bisexual I can guarantee you that we are real.

One of these days it will be recognized that everyone is bisexual. The differences are only in degree, in the situations contributing to the balance of attractions involved, in the way experience has helped mold the nature of each person's choices at various stages of life, and in the way society has either repressed or approved of the combinations that have resulted.

They are real. I think it might be just the next step in evolution. I think with how the species grows it might even become one sex all together. As for people now. I think it is just natural. Look at it like this. We are raised to love a mother and a father. So from the beginning we are taught to love both sex. It is religion that has imposed the ideal of just man and woman. Which from history we can see that the ideals of Religion are flawed. More people die everyday over religion than anything else.
So I think they are for real.

sure they're real... why wouldn't they be? Honestly, why someone WANT to be different from the sexual norm and be bashed all the time? I'm not saying they're ashamed to be bi (the bisexual people I've met aren't!), it's just a part of life for them, just as it is normal for heterosexuals to be attracted to the opposite sex and for homosexuals to be attracted to the same sex.

Of course bisexuals are real. Count me as one! Seriously, all this bi-phobia and bi-invisibility needs to stop.
