I know he is gay and have seen him on www.manhunt.net, but he is so shy and if it doesnt work out i will have to see him all the time when i shop with my wife and kids.

If you are married then damn straight it is wrong to want a homosexual relationship with anybody.
Why not just ask is wrong to cheat on your wife and destroy your kids ideal of what a father should be.
