Why would you ask that in the LGBT section?

I'm pretty sure that individuals in ancient Africa and Europe practiced bestiality- it was common for many shephards to pass the time with a favorite sheep out in the fields on a lazy day. I don't know that it was a common practice, but it certainly happened, and probably has happened, since the dawn of time.
What diseases? I'm not sure. I doubt that the simple act of intercourse with any animal would give you a disease, but by close contact and possible sharing of body fluids, any number of diseases the animal has might be shared- rabies, mad cow/sheep/etc. disease, AIDS (possibly), etc.
No, animal semen cannot fertilize a human egg cell. The genetic composition is incompatible (that's what makes us different species- if two animals cannot reproduce together, they are different species).
Your welcome.

I'm sure there were some people who practiced beasiality in ancient times and today in any continent. However I don't know if you can get STD's from animals. And the only combinations that can produce offspring is a male/female vaginal intercourse in humans, or a male/female vaginal intercourse in animals. There's no cross breeding between species. And on that note, if we are ever populated by an intelligent alien species it's possible that humans will not be able to cross breed with them.

I believe that the practice you mention did not occur until the domestication of animals.
There are diseases that do "jump species" but I am not sure whether any are sexual in nature(although it is rumored syphilis started from a man/sheep tryst).
I do not believe animals can fertilize human egg cells and vice versa. The genetics are simply too different.
To answer the MISINFORMATION a previous Answer member posted HIV/AIDS was indeed thought to have come from the green monkey but the route of transmission was from infected blood in a wound or mucous membrane(even the possibility of haven eaten the infected flesh raw with open sores in the mouth), not sexual transmission.

tThere are individuals all over the world that practice Zoophillia. As long as you and the animal are healthy you don't need to worry about disease unless you are engaging in anal sex with it or you are into NecroBestiality which is just sick IMHO. There is no way to come up with a pregnancy with either you or the animal.

Why? Are you gonna do it? Are you a girl? I don't think that you can be impregnanted by an animal. The DNA is too different. But there may be a risk of diseases. Better wear some protection.

i don't know about anything else, but animal semen CANNOT fertilize a human egg cell, and vice versa. the dna is too different! humans can only fertilize humans, and animals can only fertilize animals.

It's still common in parts of Africa today. It's commonly accepted that AIDS was started by some local bushman having sex with a monkey. What a world....

1) Don't know and I really don't want to know.
2) AIDS, rabies, and many parasites as well as other bacterial diseases.
3) No since the word species means genetically compatible enough to interbreed then you won't be able to be impregnated by other species.
This has nothing to do with LGBT and really should be common sense.

What has this got to do with gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered people? I guess I have to answer my own question and say, NOTHING.
