Serioulsly, going from same-sex attractionnot to being attracted to the oposite sex, not just pretend to be straight and deny your true feelings.

I live in a gay and lesbian community even though my husband and I are straight.
We were passing a restraunt when my 4 and 6 year old kids saw two men kiss-then one of them gave the other a slap on the butt. I'm okay with this because I've always lived in this area but when my kids asked about it I told them that they were boyfriends and that it was normal (I support this in every way and yes I'm a Christian.)I explained it was the same thing with 2 women. What else should they know?

I am a 16 and im a lesbian. I am very secure with my sexuality. I know that i like girls and have had previous relationships with girls so im not one of those confused teens. This is truely what i want in life. I see myself marrying a woman and having kids together. This is my dream but there is the fear of my parents/family disowning me for my choices. I know that my mom is going to take it hard because i have brought it up in the past and it was a topic that didnt get positive responses. When i tell them about my gay friends they dont approve of them extremely. They are so quick to put them down. I my eyes if they really loved me that would accept me for who i am but in my situation thats not the case. I havent told them yet because i know that i will get thrown out and will have nowhere to stay so i am waiting until i graduate from high school to tell them. Hopefully by that time I will have somewhere else to go in case they throw me out. I just need to know how to tell them. Help!!

While I have told my dad and stepmom, I haven't told my mom. I've had an engagement band for a while now, and I think that to her, she might already think that its the commitment band, when its not.
I'm not sure how to tell her, since her feelings will be hurt that she wasn't the first to know. ( She WAS the first one I TRIED to tell, but her initial reaction was that I was an embarassment to her, and that my family wouldn't love me, etc ) They're more supportive now- it was the initial shock.
We really don't want to hurt anyone, but we want it to be a private ceremony, . . . I just don't know if I should tell her before- which will hurt her, or after ( almost pretending its totally spontaneous. )
I also don't want to give her ( or anyone) the impression that we aren't taking this seriously, or that the vows are taken lightly- I could use advice from anyone who's gone through anything similiar.

My boyfriend and I are going away for a romantic weekend. I want to give him a gift at the start of the weekend to build his excitement. It doesn't have to be much (also, prefer nothing too sexual). Any ideas?

what is the best way to tell your parents you are gay and how do you bring it up?

Does he just seem gay or act gay? How do you act gay? I've met people who are gay and I never knew until I was told. Whats the big deal anyway? Who cares? Has he said he was gay and I missed it? I prolly sound stupid, sry if I offend.

that I don't see that too much in the scene here.. I'm in the midwest, so its not like San Fran here, but still.. I was just wondering if there were a lot of effeminate males out there in the community, where you live? Do you/they try to mask it? ... just curious.

It would seem to me that the only way people like "Stale_Poot", Stale_poot 2", "Pro_Stale," and that ilk will ever go away is to NOT answer, NOT reply, NOT report, NOT do anything with their questions. The same goes for those who bash here in the Gay section. Why do some people insist on writing replys to these jerks?

How is it that people keep saying that its the environment or that a child is abused that turns them gay? They ( the homophobes) are saying that if a male child is molested by a man, they learn to like it, and it turns them day. Meanwhile, out of the other side of their mouth, they say that lesbians are created if a man molests a little girl, because she learns to not trust men. Can someone explain how this works out?
