Serioulsly, going from same-sex attractionnot to being attracted to the oposite sex, not just pretend to be straight and deny your true feelings.

I have yet to meet a gay person who has been "converted" to being straight.

Just because someone no longers act on their sexual orientation, doesn't make them any less gay. It just makes them incredibly frustrated and traumatized.

I think you hit the nail on the head when you described it as "pretend[ing] to be straight and [denying] your true feelings."

The psychology community claims this not to be possible, but there are also a lot of variations in sexual orientation, not just two or three, we are all just located along a broad spectrum. If you are closer to being bi than just gay, it could be possible to live a straight life if you really really wanted to - but you'd have the attractions. You can't get rid of those once they're set in your brain - whether it happens in the womb or as a young child.

Ask John Travolta...perhaps he has the answer. It is one thing to stop chosing what you are attracted to and do it with what you are not inherently attracted to, it is far another thing to change what you are really attracted to, isn't it. After all, there are many Gay men who functioned just fine with women, but something , if not a lot was missing. Once out, I seriously doubt that you will find the closet door swinging the other way. Good luck

After the last couple of girlfriends I had I'm READY to go back to men!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't like the way women treat each other. The lesbians I know can't seen to be able to stay in any relationship. They want love and commitment but don't seem to HOW to do that. No one wants to work at a relationship, it seems.

There are varying degrees of homosexuality. Sometimes it is just experimenting. However, you need to decide if you are gay or not, and not allow outside forces tell you how you are going to be. If you do, you will never be happy.

I think there's , because i do believe that some people the just pretend to be gay, or being gay because they want whatever pleasure they can got. but once they realized that it is not worth it , they may go back to be straight. I do not know but it is possible.

Since you clarified what you meant -- not that I've ever heard of or encountered, no. Not ever.

Embrace who you are. Anything else is a lie to yourself -- and what could be worse.

Be in love.

Kindest thoughts,

While 'reparitive therapy' claims to do this, in fact they help the person change their behaviors to appear straight - they do not permanently change their sexual orientation.

I dont know of any personally but I do know that Scientology just uses that one time with Travolta to keep him faithful to the religion. 8-|
